[CES 2014] I am quite sure that many of us were fascinated by the idea of Nabaztag when it was first unveiled quite a fair number of years ago. It seems that 2006 is a long time off now, and here we are in 2014 with something from the creator of the Nabaztag. Rafi Haladjian is the person of the moment here, and the latest creation would be known as Mother, which is actually a spooky looking white colored plastic Russian Doll that will be connected to a bunch of sensors known as cookies.
These cookies will then be able to perform various measurements, including those of motion and temperature, and based on the readings collected, they can alert you whenever it notices a change. For example, should you strap a cookie to the door where your medication is kept, but somehow or rather forgot to open it when you were due, the device would continue to nag you – just like mother did (hence its name, I suppose) until you do something about the situation. It remains to be seen just how popular something like Mother would eventually end up, as the Nabaztag did not exactly ring up phenomenal sales figures in the first place.
