The Schuberth C3 Pro is the best motorcycle helmet you can buy. Sure, there are caveats. I haven’t worn that many helmets. There’s really no such thing as a "best" helmet, considering individual needs and applications—an open-faced off-road helmet isn’t going to be great on the track—but for the average rider looking for the best all-around, well-crafted, space-aged materials helmet with all the latest technology stuffed inside, I can’t see anything besting the C3 Pro. But after three months of riding with the Schuberth exclusively, I’m still not sure you should buy one, because a cheap pair of earbuds and a smartphone almost obviates every factor at which the Schuberth excels.
The Mission RS isn’t notable because it’s electric or because it’s designed and made in America. Or even because it’s really, really fast. Why you’re going to sit down and read every single word of this world-first review is simply because it’s a superior performance motorcycle to any yet made. Period.
Nearly all motorcycle jackets available today have bits and pieces that are CE certified but never before has an entire garment—not just the elbows, shoulder and back armor—been CE certified for rider safety, like Alpinestars’ Atem jacket and suit. After a 12 month-long gestation period and a myriad of new testing processes, the Atem is about as high tech as any modern high performance motorcycle.
Move over, Glass, there’s another AR solution for motorcyclists. A startup out of Russia has ideated a helmet with a HUD that claims to solve all your navigation needs.

It’s built on an actual motorcycle helmet so it’s properly safety rated, but has been enhanced with a sculpted outer shell, a dreadlocks mullet, and even a tri-laser scope. More »

In case you haven’t picked up on it by now: Anything goes at CES. But at least this collaboration between Technics and custom bike builder Roland Sands is easy on the eyes and ears. Inspired by the Technics DH1-1200 and SL-1200MK2 turntables, Sands reworked a Harley Davidson Iron 883 and I’d say he nailed it. I don’t like Harleys at all but I am a fan of Sands, so I’d be down with this ride. And if you’re wondering who that Billy Ray Cyrus lookalike in the video is, it’s Andy Bell of Nitro Circus fame.
