Iron Man 3 Mouse: It’s Not the Armor that Makes the Mouse, but the Circuits Inside

If Tony Stark didn’t use gesture and voice commands to operate his computer system, he’d surely use this mouse to tell Jarvis what to do.

The Iron Man 3 mouse is made by Hong Kong’s E-BLUE accessories and is designed to look just like Iron Man’s Mark XIII armored helmet. The shiny red and gold mouse even has light-up LED eyes. The wireless 3-button mouse itself offers 1000dpi resolution, and has a scroll wheel cleverly integrated into the top of Iron Man’s helmet.

Retail price for the Iron Man 3 mouse is 599 Yuan (~$97 USD). No word on when you’ll be able to find this limited-edition mouse outside of Asia, but they’ll probably start popping up on eBay sooner or later.

Microsoft Artist Series Mice Get A Refresh

Microsoft Artist Series Mice Get A RefreshWe have seen our fair share of computer mice from Microsoft in the past, but they are not really the first name to pop into most people’s minds whenever one is looking for a mousing peripheral, simply because their weight of being a software giant has been their mainstay most of the time. Well, Microsoft has just announced that they have decided to refresh the Artist Series mice range, which you can check out in the image above.

For starters, there is the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 series that offers precision, portability and wireless freedom in a single package, while delivering a bunch of customized designs that will definitely increase the aesthetics factor in your daily activities with their Limited Edition Artist Series. The range will boast of artists such as Dana McClure, Deanne Cheuk, Kustaa Saksi, Matt Lyon, Joy Deangdeelert Cho and Si Scott, where you get half a dozen of these stylish mice, with individual designs demonstrating the artist’s personality and artistic approach.

Hardware-wise, you will find a battery life of up to 8 months, 2.4GHz wireless technology and BlueTrack Technology so that you can use it just about anywhere. Nice to know that nano transceiver works in a snap-in method, letting you plug it into your computer at all times without having to worry about it snapping off. [Press Release]

Iron Man mouse fuels your hot-rod red obsession, is all about the next mission

Whether you’re looking to instill fear in the hearts of enemies at LAN, or just want to edit spreadsheets in style, this Iron Man mouse will do everything a normal mouse can… just cooler. To capitalize on hype for the third installment of the superhero film franchise, Japanese company e-blue (aka E-3LUE) has released this gold and hot-rod red peripheral with Tony Stark’s blessing (read: under official Marvel license). Two AAA batteries power the wireless mouse (some say an Arc reactor was too expensive, and fictional), which has a resolution of 1000 dpi and, most importantly, light-up eyes. For 699 Chinese yuan (roughly $113), you also get a “Proof that Tony Stark has a heart” presentation case to show it off in. We’re not sure whether e-blue’s mouse with make it over to the States, but instead of worrying about that, check out the Iron Man 3 trailer below to inject some excitement into Monday morning. Can we have a War Machine version now, please?

Gigabyte’s Aivia Uranium Gaming Mouse Comes With Its Own Tiny Monitor

A beefed up computer ensures you can actually play the latest and greatest PC gaming titles, but if you want to compete online with even a marginal level of success, you’re going to need to get yourself a kick-ass mouse as well. Gigabyte’s new Aivia Uranium seems to fit the bill, particularly if you want to go wireless without having to swap batteries every few days. More »

Gigabyte Aivia Uranium gaming mouse breaks cover

When it comes to computer gaming one of the most important peripherals for the gamer is the mouse. A mouse with too much or too little sensitivity can be very difficult to use during intense gaming sessions. Thankfully, there are a huge variety of gaming mice on the market today allowing the PC gamer to choose the mouse perfectly suited their needs. Another new mouse is set to launch from Gigabyte called the Aivia Uranium.

The mouse promises a battery life of up to 70 hours on a pair of AA batteries. These aren’t old-fashioned throwaway AA batteries, though presumably you could use those throwaway batteries in a pinch. This mouse uses a pair of rechargeable AA batteries that are charged by plugging the mouse into the included Ghost Macro Station that doubles as the wireless receiver.

That Ghost Macro Station also has a very interesting OLED monochrome screen integrated into the front. That screen gives the gamer details such as how the battery charging is going, the DPI setting for the mouse, and the current wireless frequency. The screen can also be used for customizing macros on the mouse.

One of the most important aspects of any gaming mouse is the sensitivity. That’s where things get a bit murky, so far we don’t know the exact sensitivity but odds are we’re looking at 5600 at least dpi. The mouse is also expected to feature 10 programmable buttons and multiple onboard profiles. The LED lighting system the mouse will also be color adjustable. The mouse is expected to launch in June with pricing unannounced. I’d wager we’re looking at over $100.
