Oh man, I totally have no idea what is going on but I do not want it to stop. "Ryusei Girl", the latest single from Megu & Patron’s upcoming mini album, will have you tapping your toes and hankering for some nostalgic Asteroids action, even if you can’t figure out what’s being said.
David Lynch, famed director of iconic Hollywood films like Eraserhead and Dune, is also a kickass musician. Here, he’s put his madleet remixing skills to work, reimagining Ultraísta‘s afrobeat-infused electronica single, "Strange Formula." He didn’t touch the video though, it was that psychedelic when he got there.
Two immediate takeaways from this musical interlude by Mike Maryniuk: A) Don’t mess with a man who has trout for arms as he possessses the strength of 50 whales and B) Stay the hell out of Manitoba—it is a strange and terrifying land full of men armed with fish.
"Dude, you sure you’re ok to drive? Your pupils look a little dilated" ranks among the top three things nobody wants to hear as the third blotter of acid kicks in—directly between, "Please bend of over the examination table and try to relax" and "Sir, step out of the vehicle right meow."
Time doesn’t stop for anybody. Seasons keep rolling one after the other. Weather could care less if you’re cold or hot or just right. And life eventually ends. This new stop motion music video directed by Toby and Pete for Chet Faker’s Talk Is Cheap examines all that in 3 minutes. It’s mesmerizing to see a year’s life wither down in such little time. Enjoy it.
Whoa. Austin Motion Artists Group‘s computer-animated space warp is the grooviest 3 minutes you’ll witness today. It’s positively mesmerizing.
Dylan’s ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ gets awesome interactive music video 48 years later
Posted in: Today's ChiliThe jugglers and the clowns are out in full force for this one. It’s probably not exactly what Bob Dylan was envisioning when he penned “Like a Rolling Stone” lo so many decades ago, but it’s a pretty terrific tribute to the folk-rock classic directed by YouTube hero Vania Heymann. You can flip through several stations featuring the likes of Marc Maron, Drew Carey, Danny Brown and the Pawn Stars synced masterfully with the track. The video commemorates the recent release of the 47-disc set The Complete Album Collection, Vol. 1.

Sort of like the literal MS Paint renditions of popular songs
Considering that basic projectors are fairly dated pieces of tech at this point, the number of people still putting them to ingenius, wildly creative
I understand that when you take a picture or video with your phone, it makes a lot of sense to hold your phone upright. It’s more comfortable! It’s totally natural! And though Instagram has helped fix portrait mode pictures by squaring them off, we still haven’t solved the portrait video problem. It’s awful to watch videos like that. Everyone who does it is just a bunch of scrubs.
