Hasta La Gadget!

This isn’t your father’s Oldsmobile. It is Bronie Hayden Sailer’s, who is a serious fan of Princess Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. It takes a serious Pony fan to ride around in this classic Olds decorated with a custom hood ornament that looks like the little Pony.

Friendship is magic and it is also all up in his grille. His car grille that is. Hayden made this cool hood ornament with a 3D printer using a design that he found on Shapeways. After that he covered it with chrome paint and had himself a unique car accessory.

Now he ponies around his nay-borhood looking like a pimp.

Check out this mixed media Darth Vader, made from all kinds of electronics and gadgets. It looks just like the real Vader – if he were made from circuit boards, PlayStation controllers, Game Boys iPods and mice. It looks amazing and I would love to have this guy on my wall.

The piece was made by Argentina-based artist Elisa Naranja Metalica, who is inspired by all things pop culture. To make her pieces, she uses toys, trash, jewelry, electronics and more. In addition to the aforementioned gadgets, I spy some old floppy disks, cell phones, AC adapters, remote controls and at least one Super Nintendo cartridge.

Elisa has made lots of other awesome mixed media piece as well – like this My Little Junk Pony.

Get that Brony band back together because it is time to rock the Pony Kingdom. This custom electric guitar by Vladislav is pretty and pretty awesome, and it’s all decked out in a Twilight Sparkle theme.

It’s made of alder, mahogany and rosewood. It even has star-shaped controls that are made to look like Twilight’s cutie mark. This guitar was made for a Russian Brony Convention called “Filly Feathers Festival.” Yes, that is a thing.

This is probably the best My Little Pony guitar ever made. The creator did an amazing job on the detail. Now if Ponies could just use a pick with their hooves, we could have a proper pony concert.

An ancient evil has awakened. And he is so adorable! This cute Cthulhu pony comes from Bigshot Toyworks who is developing a Cthulhu-themed My Little Pony named Maddie. She is one of the characters in their upcoming toy and animation series aptly called “Friendship is Maddness.”

Yes. Yes it is. And cuteness. And insanity. This pony looks a bit like an Ood from Doctor Who as well. This one will not be the only newly-designed toy, but I’m guessing the story centers on her.

Judging by this one, that should be a very cool animation and toy series. I would watch the heck out of that Cthulhu pony show.

For some reason, My Little Pony reminds me of the Powerpuff Girls. It’s probably because of their usage of bright colors or the fact that their larger-than-life fanbase includes unusual members, most notably grown-up men who probably aren’t who the shows’ producers were targeting.

But there they are and here we all are. Male fans of My Little Pony are so great in number that they’ve come to be collectively known as bronies. You know, bros who love ponies.

Never being one to let something slip past them, College Humor picked up on this to come up with a new range of fictitious but oh-so-amusing line of dolls, aptly called My Little Brony. They even put together a commercial featuring the fake dolls, just for the heck of it…
