Barack Obama may still have three years left in his presidency, but the debate over his presidential library is already reaching fever pitch. Planning the outgoing POTUS’ library is an extremely sweet gig, and it’s already been assigned to one of Obama’s advisors. Still up in the air, though, is where it will be built—and who should design it.
Obama hasn’t had a great time with all things technological recently: Healthcare.gov is still struggling
Listen to Bill Nye’s letter to the President of the United States asking for $1.5 billion to support planetary exploration. He gives three excellent reasons.
Poor old Barack Obama. Not only is his pet project HealthCare.gov struggling to gain traction
Despite being what many would deem to be the most powerful man in the world, President Barack Obama is still bound by certain rules and regulations. For instance, as much as he would like to use an iPhone as his regular communications device, he is unable to do so because of “security reasons”. In fact, when President Barack Obama jumped on board as the President of the U.S., you could more or less say that he and the BlackBerry were virtually inseparable. When he attempted to work out a deal for a “cooler” handset to use in the Oval Office, he ended up with a BlackBerry 8830 World Edition that carried a special app within known as SecureVoice, which ironically delivered top secret information from the NSA.
His two daughters, however, are iPhone users, and he did share that he has an iPad 2 but does not own an iPhone. That iPad 2 is extra special, since it was given to him by the late Steve Jobs over a Silicon Valley dinner a couple of years ago. So far, President Obama claims that only 10 people have his personal email address, which is interesting to note since it would be easy to keep track of incoming mail each day.

We don’t need to tell you how much of a disaster Healthcare.gov has been
Slate is reporting that, while the Obama administration has long been making noises about trying to support phone unlocking
We think it’s safe to say things with the Healthcare.gov website haven’t been going very well over the past few weeks. Its launch was met with nearly everyone attempting to access the website unable to sign up for the health insurance coverage they wanted to obtain, and things might get even more difficult now that a hacking tool called “Destroy Obamacare” has been discovered. ‘Destroy Obamacare’ Hacking Tool Discovered To Target Healthcare.gov original content from Ubergizmo.
The Syrian Electronic Army has made quite a name for itself. It has hacked a number of high profile Twitter accounts as well as websites, and its latest target is related to probably the most high profile individual on the planet, U.S. President Barack Obama. The President’s social media updates on Facebook and Twitter were hijacked today apparently by exploiting a vulnerability in the URL shortener that is used to promote Organizing for Action, which supports Obamacare. Furthermore, the Syrian Electronic Army also claims that it has been able to access “many Obama campaign emails,” and has also been able to hack into Obama’s donation website. The hijacked links posted on Facebook and Twitter took visitors to a 24 minute video titled “Syria facing terrorism,” but they have now been fixed.
