Online banking on your smartphone is one of those wonderful services that lets you avoid overdrafts, or more importantly, awkward, "your credit card has been declined" moments. But entering an online banking password on an itty bitty keyboard problem is no fun.

This is a system for preventing password theft, by mixing several dummy cursors in with the real cursor.
The software keyboards used in online banking are effective against key loggers, but by taking screen captures or looking over your shoulder, people would be able to work out your password.
With this system, only the user knows which cursor is the real one, so there’s no concern about people stealing passwords just by being able to see the screen.

The iOS crowd has been able to use Simple’s online banking app since May of last year, but starting today, those on the Android side of things also have access to the service. For those unfamiliar with Simple, it essentially hopes to match or replace the other guys by introducing “everything you need to organize your spending so you can save more.” This means that in addition to checking account balances, you can also view recent transactions and send or schedule payments.
