Light Up Your Life With FIREase
Posted in: Today's ChiliWhen it comes to starting fires for your camping trip or your summer outdoor entertaining it isn’t always so easy to get that traditional wood fire going. Once you get it going it can take some work poking and prodding to keep it going and then carefully adding new wood as the fire burns down. FIREase has created the IncinerGrate to make fire starting and maintaining as simple as toasting marshmallows.
Look! Up in the trees! It’s a UFO! It’s a hammock! It’s a tree house! No, it’s a . . . tent? Yes, that’s it. It is the Tentsile Stingray tent and it is designed to be used either on the ground or suspended in the trees. It is the brain-child of tree house designer Alex Shirley-Smith, in partnership with product designer Kirk Kirchev. The idea was to make a simple, lightweight, portable tree house using minimal materials. The result is an other-worldly looking design.
There is nothing like sitting around a fire on a summer night, talking with friends and family, and maybe toasting a few marshmallows. While this has long been common practice on camping trips, it is nice to be able to do it at home as well — thus the invention of the fire pit. While these fire pits are nice, they can be so much more. Just ask Melissa Crisp. She won’t just tell you, she will show you. She is an artist who is creating fire pits as works of art.
