Panasonic has rolled out a new line of digital cameras at CES 2013 that includes the compact and thin camera called the Lumix SZ3. Panasonic says that the little camera is packed with features that will cater to any photographer looking to take pictures of family and friends, vacation scenery, or subjects in low light. The camera features a 10 times optical zoom Leica DC lens.

The camera also has 20 times digital zoom and the lens is a wide-angle 25 mm unit. The little camera is capable of shooting bursts at 10 frames per second. The camera also has 12 creative effects built-in and is compact enough to fit in a pocket.

Panasonic fits the little camera with Intelligent Resolution technology to keep image quality high when zoom is used. The image sensor used inside the camera has a 16.1-megapixel resolution. The camera has a 2.7-inch LCD on the rear for viewing images and lining up shots. The 12 creative effects inside the camera include soft focus, retro, and more.

The compact camera can also record 720p HD resolution video. Camera users can also retouch photos from within the camera using the beauty retouch feature. The camera will be available in black, blue, and white with availability set for the end of March. Panasonic is taking pre-orders right now $149.99.

Look At This Wicked Technics Inspired Motorcycle

In case you haven’t picked up on it by now: Anything goes at CES. But at least this collaboration between Technics and custom bike builder Roland Sands is easy on the eyes and ears. Inspired by the Technics DH1-1200 and SL-1200MK2 turntables, Sands reworked a Harley Davidson Iron 883 and I’d say he nailed it. I don’t like Harleys at all but I am a fan of Sands, so I’d be down with this ride. And if you’re wondering who that Billy Ray Cyrus lookalike in the video is, it’s Andy Bell of Nitro Circus fame. Panasonic Reveals New Blu-ray Players, Media Streamers At CES

Panasonic Reveals New Blu ray Players, Media Streamers At CES

[CES 2013] In the market for a new Blu-ray player or media streamer and own a number of Panasonic devices in your home theater setup? Then you’ll be happy to hear Panasonic is announcing a number of new Blu-ray players as well as media streamers at CES this week to be available next month.

First off, there are a total of four Blu-ray players that will be available at retail starting in February. Panasonic’s DMP-BD89 and DMP-BD79 are the company’s 2D Blu-ray players, while the DMP-BDT330 and DMP-BDT230 offer Full HD 3D compatibility. All four Blu-ray players feature Panasonic’s IPTV platform and VIERA Connect, but the 2D Blu-ray players feature IP VOD, which is a service that offers a limited selection of streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant Video and YouTube.

Only two media streamers are being introduced this week: the DMP-MST60 and DMP-MS10. Both media streamers offer VIERA Connect and IP VOD, like the Blu-ray players, but the DMP-MST60 is 3D capable and includes a web browser while the DMP-MS10 doesn’t have those two fancy features. Both media streaming players have the ability to play media from an external HDD and offer Miracast, which allows you to transfer photos and videos located on their smartphone or tablet to their HDTV.

All of Panasonic’s Blu-ray players and media streamers will be available next month, but at this time, no price point has been announced for any of them.

Panasonic LUMIX ZS30 CES 2013 Panasonic LUMIX DMC ZS30 Features 20x Optical Zoom, WiFi Connectivity This March

[CES 2013] Point-and-shoot cameras have been popular for years due to their portability and quality of photos and videos they can produce. Sure, they’re nowhere near the quality of DSLRs, but considering they can be thrown into a backpack, purse and even your jean pockets, the tradeoff is definitely worth it. But Panasonic is introducing a new point-and-shoot camera the company is calling “the perfect camera for any situation.”

The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS30 features a 20x Optical Zoom, 60p Full HD video recording and WiFi connectivity that introduces a number of ways to use your camera beyond just sharing your photos onto Facebook. Sure – you’ll be able to upload your photos and videos online without needing to connect to a computer, but you’ll also be able to wirelessly connect your LUMIX DMC-ZS30 to your smartphone, allowing you to take pictures from the camera remotely.

Panasonic RP-BTGS10 Uses Your Skull To Listen To Music Via Bluetooth-enabled Devices

[CES 2013] One day, I have a feeling we’re going to look back at the design of headphones and earphones and think, “We actually used our ears to listen to music? Weird!!” as bone-conducting headphones seem to be in our future. Sure, you can probably get a better sound from actually using your ears, but we’re sure you have come across moments where you don’t want to dedicate your head holes to music and need to listen to your surroundings.

Panasonic is introducing this week at CES its new RP-BTGS10 wireless headphones, which are worn on your head and the play audio from your Bluetooth-enabled device straight into your cheekbones. The way it works is in the location of the headphones as audio travels from your skull, to your ossicles, to the cochlea and, finally, to your auditory nerve. Hopefully you took a course in physiology in high school, or that last sentence probably made absolutely no sense to you. Either way, just know the RP-BTGS10 work by using the bones in your head to send audio to your ears, leaving your actual ear holes open to be aware of your surroundings.

Panasonic’s RP-BTGS10 will be available this fall, although no price was given at the time they were announced.

At CES this year Panasonic will be showing off bone conducting headphones that beam music through your body. The Panasonic RP-BTGS10 doesn’t go inside your ear or over the ear but outside your ear.
