How does Paper work? Well, it would make storytelling a whole lot more “beautiful” thanks to an immersive design in a glorious full screen, distraction-free layout. Apart from that, Facebook also claims that it is a whole lot easier to craft as well as share beautiful stories of your own.

Here’s a super clever art installation by artist Markus Raetz. As the two paper chandeliers spin, the light source from behind mimics a ghost head turning its head from side to side. The paper is specifically cut to create the illusion of motion from the invisible head.
We love books like The Hobbit because they really come alive in our hands. In this case, the book really comes alive with a fearsome paper Smaug leaping out from the pages.
Thankfully he can’t burn you, but he is dangerous. Just think about all of the papercuts this guy could give you. This fantastic work of art was created by DeviantArtist FarTooManyIdeas. The sculpture itself is amazing, but the fact that it is springing forth from The Hobbit book, just puts the icing on the cake.
If you look closely you will also see a tiny Bilbo peeking around the corner. Great work within a great book.

Just because Christmas is over, that doesn’t mean that you can’t still make some paper snowflakes. It is still winter in the Northern Hemisphere after all. And Sonia Harris of Comic Book Resources has just the flakes for you.
She has taken the time and used her creativity to come up with some awesome superhero paper snowflake designs. They come in Batman, Storm, Punisher, Wonder Woman, and Iron Man versions. They all look super neat and will certainly geek up your home.
They should be pretty easy to make. Once you’ve downloaded the patterns, you should be able to make these in about an hour or so. Then it will be snowing superheroes all over your house. It would be awesome to use real comic book pages when creating these too.

Minecraft fans will enjoy hanging these paper snowflakes on their Christmas tree this year. You have probably already downloaded and cut some other paper snowflakes. Now you can add some Creepers.
These snowflakes are from Instructables contributor Penolopy Bulnick. You can choose from snowflakes with weapons or one that looks like a bunch of Creepers. They looks great and blocky just like in the game. If your tree happens to be pixelated, these will look even better. At least until the Creepers explode.
You’ve spent hours upon hours playing the game, so you might as well deck the halls with Creepers this year. Have a very Minecraft Christmas and a Creeper New Year!

Paper boats are fun craft projects for kids. And not just kids who lived in the 1800s either. I’m sure some kids and adults still make paper boats and set them in the water, watching the wind move them along. Well, now the PowerUp Boat updates things a bit.
The PowerUp Boat Motorized Paper Boat Kit is for modern kids who still like to play with toys in the tub. Just fold the boat, attach the motor, and let it cruise across the surface of the water. The paper is waterproof and the little flag and anchor make it look more authentic. Too bad the motor isn’t electric – it’s the wind-up type, so it will only give you about 10 seconds of cruising at a time. On the other hand, you’ll never run out of battery.
This is a cool toy at just $12(USD) from ThinkGeek. What’s old is new and fun again as well. Time to play pirates on the high sudsy seas. Ahoy mateys!
