Pre-dehydrated food processor? Non-functional sinks installed purely for style? A streamlined… baby? When it comes to midcentury visions of tomorrow, sometimes it’s hard to tell the spoofs from the earnest predictions. But what’s even more interesting is why the parodies popped up in the first place.
Most company logos usually play it pretty safe: stale stencils or vanilla graphics mixed with a bunch of nothingness to keep uniqueness to a minimum. That’s never fun. But if you get too adventurous, the Internet skewers you. That’s why we’re left with logos and brands that pretty much are all different degrees of the same.
In an alternate universe, the characters from Game of Thrones are all alive and kicking. Imagine if they took a break from all that scheming and fighting and decided to live normal lives like ours.
I don’t think they’ll have much difficulty finding mates of their own, but if they ever decided to try online dating, then Team Pwnicorn has got them covered.
“Game of Thrones Dating Profiles” is the newest series by Team Pwnicorn and it’s hilarious, as most of their parodies often are.
Don’t count any of the characters out, because even The Wall has a profile made up especially for him/her/it. You can check out the rest of the profiles in the gallery below.

Cat Fighter: Feline vs. Feline
Posted in: Today's ChiliWhen cats fight, it’s best that you steer clear and let them resolve the issue themselves. I don’t know about you, but I’m not too eager to step in between a cat fight, especially when the claws are out.
The Pet Collective put a pretty interesting twist to cat fights that you will no doubt find amusing, and it’s called Cat Fighter.
It’s a catty parody of the video game Street Fighter, and it’s excellently done, if you ask me. Instead of Ken and Ryu, we’ve got Ren and Kyu (see what they did there?) They’ve got nothing but their claws and sheer ferocity to fight their battles with.
Ken and Ryu rivalry is re-imagined on a feline level. See these Kittens hash it out in some retro SNES fashion.
Most cats probably can’t do the high jumps and backflips that you see Ren and Kyu doing, but hey, this is a parody after all.
On a side note, I find it extremely amusing to see a 5-Year Q&A journal in the center of the fighting arena, since I have the exact same one on my desk right now. Maybe I can host my own Cat Fighter tournament here when my sister visits and brings her kitties with her next week, eh?

Because we don’t have any real life superheroes in this totally lame world of ours, we obsess over the lives of silly celebrities with beautiful cheekbones and photoshopped curves and cry over athletes wearing fresh laundry. It’s what we call fun! But if superheroes existed on Earth, all those puny humans would never make the cover of magazines ever again. We’d obsess over superheroes all the time.

The New Mac Pro Gets Mocked
Posted in: Today's ChiliDespite its innovative design, Apple’s reimagined Mac Pro’s look has definitely been polarizing. Its black cylindrical case has been compared to everything from a garbage can to an umbrella stand. Its unconventional design has led to numerous parodies, and the guys over at C|NET Asia and What new Mac Pro Should Be have been kind enough to compile some of the best for us.

I think it would be great if you could cook your dinner in the top of it. After all, that’s supposed to be part of the Mac Pro’s sophisticated ventilation setup. Though I could use a new Kleenex holder on my desk too…

While I’ve never wanted to be caught in an avalanche, I have always wanted a St. Bernard to bring me a barrel of Whisky to warm me up.

The hard shell of the new Mac Pro would certainly provide more protection from head trauma than those soft and fuzzy hats that Queen’s Guard wears.

Whack-a-Mac. ‘Nuff said.

Funny thing is, the Mac Pro exerciser doesn’t look any less comfortable than those awful foam rollers they have at the gym.

And my personal favorite… The Dark Side of the Mac.

Now that the Explorer Edition of Google Glass has been shipped out to a select number of people, you might have bumped into someone wearing them at a party, social event or maybe even on the streets. Using Google Glass may seem more difficult to those who haven’t used the wearable computer than those who have become accustomed to it, which is exactly what the writers at Saturday Night Live decided to focus on in one of its skits this past weekend.
The “Google Glass” wearer that was featured during Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update segment is named Randall Meeks, who is played by SNL cast member Fred Armisen. During the segment, Meeks demonstrates just how “easy” it is to use Google Glass, although his ability to use the device is thwarted through his own inability to use it properly. During Meeks’ conversation with Seth Meyers, he spends the majority of his time yelling voice commands at his pair of Google Glass, with one of those commands accidentally outing a private video he probably shouldn’t have been watching while he was demonstrating the device.

According to the Urban Dictionary, “sweded” is defined as “the summarized recreation of popular pop-culture films using limited budgets and a camcorder.” It originated from Michel Gondry’s Be Kind Rewind and has had a life of its own in pop culture and on the Internet, where it has been turned into a meme.
I’ve seen my fair share of cringe-worthy sweded films, so trust me when I say that this sweded Iron Man 3 trailer by Thailand-based Fedfe Boyband is nothing short of awesome. It’s also pretty darned hilarious.
Clearly, they were working on a tight budget, but that didn’t seem to cramp their style or cripple their sense of humor. In fact, the limitations and how they worked around them are pretty much what makes the trailer such a huge hit. The clip has since gone viral and currently has over a million views on YouTube.
You can check it out below:
It’s pretty in sync with the actual trailer for the movie, too. This comparison video will show you just how closely Fedfe copied the actual thing:
