The netbook was a pretty interesting fad, although the amount of time it spent in the market did not really manage to make an impact. I suppose the birth of tablets as well as Ultrabooks more or less killed off the netbook since folks did not really see any need for it to exist, not to mention the relatively paltry computing power available.
