After going ears-on with some of JBL’s new holiday wares recently, today the company announced availability for four such products ahead of the impending/already-in-progress holiday shopping season. The Soundfly portable speaker ($179 to $199), the OnBeat aWake iPad dock ($139), the OnBeat Venue Bluetooth loudspeaker ($199), and the J Series headphones (which come in a variety of styles and prices, from $39 to $149) are all now available. Sadly, despite the introduction of Apple’s new connection port earlier this year, all of JBL’s offerings this year are only compatible with the original, 30-pin connector — something to consider when purchasing gifts for your early-adopter audiophile friends. Said wares can be had through JBL’s website, as well as via your local brick-and-mortar.

When Apple dropped the 30-pin connector in favor of Lightning for the iPhone 5, new iPods and new iPads, it also dropped much of the current accessory market: short of an expensive adapter, years of collecting docks and more exotic peripherals were for nought. Belkin is stepping into that vacuum with what it says are the first officially sanctioned third-party Lightning accessories. Neither its Charge + Sync Dock (seen at left) for the iPhone 5 nor its Car Charger for Lightning (right) are what we’d call revolutionary, but they both cover missing pieces of the puzzle — including Apple’s, as the tech firm skipped making an iPhone dock of its own for this generation. Should either the audio-supporting dock or the iPad-capable charger sound appealing, both are up for pre-orders today and will ship in mid-November for $30.

Doxie has added another portable scanner to its heart-logo’d lineup, the Doxie One, which can digitize documents and images to an included SD-card with nary a computer in sight. Doxie says that’ll let you travel light with the “paper-towel roll sized” device to scan and automatically generate Abbyy OCR-read PDFs, then sync up later with a Mac, PC, iPhone or iPad. From there, you can use the included app on a Mac or iDevice to transfer the scans to Dropbox, Evernote or iMessage. The device eschews the WiFi option of its recent Doxie Go sibling, but carries a lesser $149 sticker — check the PR for the full dope.

As you can see above, the battery case will be available in white and black livery, with the company promising its 2,300mAh peripheral can “virtually double” battery life on the Galaxy S III without adding too much heft to the device.
