The lawyer with an ever pointing finger who first burst onto the scene on the Nintendo DS all those years ago is set to make another appearance, this time around on a new Nintendo 3DS title that will be set a year after the happenings in Ace Attorney 4. Phoenix Wright will be the main protagonist again, which ought to bring smiles to fans of the Ace Attorney series. Famitsu also confirmed that Ace Attorney 5 will introduce a new female character who is said to play a key role in the title, but we on the edges of our seat at the moment until her identity is revealed at the Tokyo Game Show which is happening later this month.

It would be interesting to see the finger of Phoenix Wright “popping out” at the guilty in court due to the game being presented on the Nintendo 3DS platform. Not only that, another factor to take into consideration would be the ability to set facial expressions during testimony.
