Nintendo Offers No Save Map For Pokemon X And Pokemon Y Lumiose Save Bug

Nintendo Offers No Save Map For Pokemon X And Pokemon Y Lumiose Save BugBoth Pokemon X and Pokemon Y were released recently, and they have respectively racked up a fair amount of sales which is impressive for a portable console title, but that is to be expected considering the juggernaut of a franchise that it is. Unfortunately, the game itself has been “tainted” by a game breaking bug which has actually caused some grief for those who were affected. Apparently, if you were to save the game in specific areas within the main city of Lumiose, the game will freeze, and you would have to begin all over again. There is a silver lining behind this apparent dark cloud as Nintendo is working around the situation for a permanent fix.

Basically, Nintendo responded something along the lines of delivering a fix for this sae bug issue in a few days’ time via the Nintendo eShop, although gamers’ patience will have to be tested between now and then. As a stop gap measure, Nintendo has introduced the map of Lumiose City below that marks the selected areas that players should avoid saving their game. Better be safe than sorry, and just because it has not affected you before, that does not mean the issue is no real at all!

Pokemon X And Y Sells 2 Million Copies In Two Days

Pokemon X And Y Sells 2 Million Copies In Two Days

Pokemon X & Y was released over the weekend on October 12 globally. As a result, many dormant Pokemon trainers have once again picked up their Nintendo handheld in order to train their Pokemon to battle one another until we get a screaming Charmander. Pokemon has always been a very big game series for Nintendo, which is why we’re not completely surprised to hear the company has sold over 4 million units of both Pokemon X and Pokemon Y in its first two days of being available. Pokemon X And Pokemon Y Has Game-Breaking Save Bug (Rumor)

Pokemon X And Pokemon Y Has Game Breaking Save Bug (Rumor)It is important to make sure that games are tested thoroughly before they are released so that the end user, a gamer in this case, would not have many (or any) issues with it. Of course, from time to time, there are some games that do end up horribly wrong for the gamer just like how GTA Online saw characters go missing permanently, which has led to Rockstar compensating such gamers with up to $500,000 in GTA currency. Well, one of the hottest and most popular game franchises to date, Pokemon, experienced a worldwide launch over the weekend for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, which means all should be hunky dory. Apparently, it is not, as some gamers found a save bug in both titles that would render the game unplayable.

That happens when you decide to save your game in the outskirts of Lumiose City, at least according to a “small number” of Pokemon X and Y gamers as reported by VentureBeat. This particular bug is said to have caused the game to freeze when “saving in the outside streets area of Lumiose City”, requiring gamers to resort to a hard reset of the Nintendo 3DS. However, while that might be the solution for most other games freezing, resetting the console does not seem to work as the game allegedly freezes right after the save is reloaded. Nintendo has remained mum on the situation at the moment, so you know what NOT to do whenever you are outside of Lumiose City now.

Pokémon X And Pokémon Y Gets Worldwide Launch This October 12th

Pokémon X And Pokémon Y Gets Worldwide Launch This October 12thNintendo 3DS owners, listen up! It is time to to “catch ‘em all” once again, where we have received word that both Pokémon X as well as Pokémon Y will be experiencing a worldwide launch later this October 12th, which is just a few more days away. This would definitely go down well with the special edition Pokémon X and Pokémon Y Nintendo 3DS XL systems that we talked about at the end of last month.

These two will be the newest installments in the world-famous series, and will also be made available for the recently released Nintendo 2DS system. In Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, you will have the opportunity to discover additional Pokémon, interact with them on a whole new level, as well as hook up with other Trainers around the world while exploring a totally new region with brand new visuals to go along with the experience. Do you find it interesting that the Pokémon franchise originally debuted over 15 years ago, and yet it has remained one of the strongest franchises in the world of video games? Some things just refuse to die, and we do wonder how Angry Birds will be like 15 years from now. Will you be getting your dose of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y at the end of this week?

Pokemon X And Y Pre-Orders Hit 260,000 Units In Two Days

Pokemon X And Y Pre Orders Hit 260,000 Units In Two DaysIt was recently that Nintendo announced the pre-order bonuses for Pokemon X and Y for Japan, and we’re not sure if it’s because of these pre-order bonuses or the fact that the Pokemon franchise has a huge following (we’re guess it’s a bit of both), but according to reports, it seems that Pokemon X and Y pre-orders have managed to hit an impressive 260,000 units in just two days! The game is expected to see a release on the 12th of October and given that we’re only in August, we have to wonder just how many pre-orders the game will have before it is officially released!

Just to put things into perspective, Pokemon Black and White 2’s pre-orders managed to hit 1.16 million a week before the game was released, meaning that there is a very good chance that Pokemon X and Y will be able to break that record in no time at all. At the moment the pre-order bonuses seem to be limited to the Japanese market, and at this point in time there’s no telling if Nintendo will have something similar for other markets, but either way have you pre-ordered your copy of the game?

Pokemon X And Y Pre-Order Bonuses For Japan Revealed

Earlier this year Nintendo announced Pokemon X and Y for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console, and for those who are excited to get their hands on the game, the company has revealed some pre-order bonuses which unfortunately seems to be limited to Japan, at least for now. For gamers in Japan who are looking forward to the game, you might want to place your pre-orders because Nintendo will be throwing in some goodies you could be interested in.

This includes clear file folders that includes images of Xernaeas/Yveltal, a mini Xernaeas/Yveltal figurine, both of which will depend on which version of the game you pick, but for the more hardcore Pokemon fan who plans on picking up both, an exclusive World Art book will be thrown into the mix as well. This pre-order bonus is currently only offered at Pokemon Centers located throughout Japan, but hopefully Nintendo will have something similar, if not better, to offer its North American customers. The game is expected to see a release this October world-wide and will be exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS.
