Unlocked Moto G now up for pre-order on Amazon, expected to ship December 4th

A mere three days after Motorola started selling the Moto G unlocked online, giant retailer Amazon is bringing the budget-friendly smartphone to its shelves. Pre-orders are being accepted as we speak, with the 4.5-inch device being priced at $179 and $199 for the 8GB and 16GB models, respectively. Unlike with Motorola’s promise to ship the Moto G as early as December 2nd, Amazon has the arrival date listed for a couple days later, on December 4th. And if you’ve yet to determine whether this little guy is for you, then perhaps this here review can help during the decision-making process.

AT&T will start taking Galaxy Gear pre-orders tomorrow

AT&T will start taking Galaxy Gear pre-orders tomorrow

You can stop wondering when AT&T will let you plunk down cash for a Galaxy Gear: the carrier has just announced that it will start taking pre-orders for Samsung’s smartwatch at 12:01AM ET tomorrow, September 17th. AT&T hasn’t detailed pricing or a final release date, although Samsung has previously suggested that the Galaxy Gear should reach the US by October for $299. Given the pre-order timing, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Gear arrives shortly after the Galaxy Note 3.

iPhone 5c pre-orders are open: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and other carriers are now live

Preorder your Apple iPhone 5c right now!

Apple is ready to start taking your money for the iPhone 5c in all its multi-hued glory. You can hit the Apple Store to order one on a two year contract through Sprint, AT&T and Verizon for $99 (16GB) and $199 (32GB). It can also be pre-ordered from all those carriers directly (see the links above) at the the same prices, and if unlocked is more your thing, a contract-free version is available through T-Mobile for $549 (16GB) and $649 (32GB). Pre-orders have also opened across ten other countries, like Canada and the UK, where the sun has already risen on Friday the 13th. They’ll start shipping out on September 20th, the same day the iPhone 5s hits stores. A bit more than some thought they’d be, but you can’t put a price on being first, right?

Update: Apple’s store is now up, and it looks like you can also pre-order from T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon at the links above. Other international carriers are also taking orders; we’ve rounded up a few at the More Coverage link after the break.

Sprint to start LG G2 pre-orders on October 11th

Sprint to start LG G2 preorders on October 11th

We’ve seen AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon commit to releasing the LG G2 this fall… but where’s Sprint’s version? Don’t worry, fans, the carrier hasn’t forgotten you. Sprint now says it will take pre-orders for the $200 Android flagship starting on October 11th, with a release “in time for the holidays.” In return for the wait, the provider is giving out free QuickWindow covers to everyone who pre-orders a G2 through its website. We doubt that the gift will quell the jealousy of Sprint customers whose friends get a G2 weeks in advance, but the more patient among those subscribers can register their interest at the source link.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 now available for pre-order on AT&T, expected to ship ‘around’ October 1st for $299.99

AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3 now available for preorder, expected to ship around October 1st

Later this morning, Verizon will open its virtual doors to early Samsung Galaxy Note 3 adopters wanting to pre-order the new flagship device announced two days ago. AT&T wants to do one better, however, by flipping the switch right now. Starting at 12:01am ET, the GSM network will give you the opportunity to commit $300 of your hard-earned money and two years of your life — or $35 per month if you plan to use AT&T Next, which effectively translates into an off-contract cost of $700, by our calculations — to have the large smartphone shipped to your doorstep “around October 1st.” So yes, this means the final date is more of a flexible guideline than a rule at this point, though we’re holding out hope that this estimate is conservative and will actually arrive sooner rather than later, in the same manner in which the pizza place quotes you when you call for delivery.

The network also confirms that the Galaxy Gear is on its way as well, though it only gets as specific as “the coming weeks.”

Verizon announces first US pre-order date for Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear: September 6th at 9AM ET

Verizon announces first US preorder date for Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear September 6th at 9AM ET

The Big Four (that’d be Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T) have all confirmed that they’ll be stocking Samsung’s newly-introduced Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 3, but none of ’em have been bold enough as to give us two precious details: pricing and availability. We’re still waiting for the damage, but VZW has come forward and alerted its customers that pre-orders will open up on September 6th. Given that the Note 3 just sailed through the FCC (and that the Gear is due to land in October), we’re guessing that you’ll have to wait anywhere from one to eight weeks for shipment. We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything more concrete.
