Galaxy S3 Premium Suite Features Fleshed Out

It must have been a patient wait for the Premium Suite upgrade that is about to make its way to the Galaxy S3 for you folks out there, but then again, this could be why our elders have always told us that patience is a virtue. Samsung Tomorrow has lost no further time in showing you just what the Galaxy S3 Premium Suite has on offer, and we shall concentrate on the area of contextual awareness, shall we not? For starters, Page Buddy allows your device to smartly predict just what you intend to do according to your actions. Taking into consideration that you have plugged in your earphones, the Galaxy S3 will boot up the music player automatically, now how about that?

The Contextual Menu also comes in handy – whenever you list up apps, you can pick from the most frequently used ones first, making it ideal when you want to go through apps and search for files to attach. There is also the advantage of Contextual Tags, as whenever you capture a picture on the phone, you are able to tag the weather, date, and place – right on the spot.

Needless to say, some of the other enhanced features include Multi Window, Auto Share Shot Pairing using NFC, a Reader Mode, and a Facebook Lock Ticker.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Android 4.1 With Premium Suite

So, we do know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, at least in select areas around the globe, has already started to receive the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system update, which will certainly keep owners of the tablet more than happy. Well, there is more than meets the eye as the Transformers would have it, as Samsung has added to the overall feeling of anticipation by revealing how Premium Suite will be part of the operating system update.

I guess apart from all that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is able to deliver, users too, will be able to enjoy extended Multi Window functionality, where it will allow your device to open up to 16 apps simultaneously, and each of these “windows” can be moved, resized and pinned according to your whim and fancy. Not only that, Samsung’s Air View has also been thrown into the Premium Suite mix, which enables users to preview appointments, emails, and video among others simply be hovering the S Pen right above the display.

Other new additions will include Easy Clip, Quick Command, Photo Note, Paper Artist and an enhanced S Note app. No idea on when exactly will Premium Suite and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean roll out, but we sure as heck hope that an early Christmas present would be more than welcome.

Samsung adds more SPen friendly apps for the Galaxy Note 101

Samsung’s gifting British Galaxy Note 10.1 users with some new, free, S-Pen apps for when playing “Eat up Martha” in S-Note stops being fun. Drop the Beat lets you produce your own banging dance tracks, while kiddy-titles Spot the Difference and Where Is It will keep your younglings quiet for five minutes. You’ll also get Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, although we’re not sure how you’ll replicate that Fast and Furious action with a four-point-five-inch plastic pencil. AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note ICS update coming tomorrow, offers Premium Suite

AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note ICS update coming tomorrow, offers Premium Suite

How much better will that Samsung Galaxy Note be when you have Ice Cream Sandwich on it? AT&T users are about to find out, as Samsung confirmed to us that the long-awaited upgrade will be knocking on their doors beginning tomorrow (with a few lucky testers getting it later today). As for the new features, the Galaxy Note’s latest refresh won’t offer anything we weren’t already expecting: in addition to the standard suite of ICS features, it’ll also come with the same Premium Suite we saw show up on the international Note a couple months ago. The new Suite offers some huge improvements in S-Memo and S-Note, as the latter is now integrated with Wolphram Alpha. Sadly, the software features we’ve seen highlighted in the Galaxy S III series (S-Beam, S-Voice, Smart Stay and so on) are nowhere to be found, but at least you’ll have plenty of other new items to keep you occupied for a while.
