So a Predator has been spotted proposing to his human girlfriend. He was backed up by his friends: a Stormtrooper, Starcraft medic and Bumblebee. Yeah this kind of stuff happens everyday. But wait, he’s doing it all wrong.

I thought Predators proposed by ripping the spines from their prey so that they can’t get away. That’s also why no one ever says no to a Predator proposal. I don’t know. I know that Predators love their trophies, I’ve just never seen one get down on his knee before to get one.

Zhao Ming is the lucky guy who did the proposing. This almost makes me want a new superhero team with Predator, Bumblebee and that Starcraft medic. Oh yeah. Vader is there too, wearing some sort of Imperial diaper tech thing. Check out more pics of the craziness at the link.

Take some notes guys. This is the best way ever to propose to your girlfriend and potential wife. If this technique does not win her over, then she is a cold cold witch and you are probably better off without her. Luckily for Robert Fink, a 3D artist, it all went off without a hitch.

With some help from his friends, Robert created a retro-style platformer called Knight Man for his girlfriend Angel White. You can watch as she plays through the whole game to the end. The end? Not really. That’s where the proposal is revealed and she has to choose either “Yes” or “No” to continue.

Of course, she picked “Yes”. How could she not? This video is sure to give you the feels. Robert should make custom games for guys with gamer girlfriends so that other guys can do this and be all awesome too.

It was a match made in heaven. So when the time was just right, Redditor SirTechnocracy put together a heart-wrenching proposal that made fellow Redditors and non-Redditors alike swoon.

Last Monday morning, he posted a link of a gallery to AdviceAnimals. He shared that his girlfriend, who goes by the handle LadyTechnocracy (see what he did there?), browses Reddit everyday, so it’s highly likely that she would come across his post at some point.

The entire proposal unfolds quite nicely in a series of memes, as you can see in the gallery below.

The bottom of the meme gallery points to a link, which hosts another gallery of commissioned art that all depict one message: a proposal.

SirTechnocracy explained on Reddit: “It would be far more romantic to her than just taking her to a restaurant. Especially with all the pictures I commissioned for this (getting all those together took months and a couple thousand dollars).”

A few hours later, LadyTechnocracy apparently found the gallery. Hearing her excitement from the other room, SirTechnocracy entered the room, got down on one knee, and proposed to her in person.

Naturally, she upvoted him, and said “Yes.”

The US Department of Defense values its wireless spectrum more than many government agencies, and it has been reluctant to lose those airwaves to private providers through government auctions. It just had a change of heart, however: the Pentagon tells the NTIA that it’s now willing to free up spectrum in the 1,755MHz to 1,780MHz range. The proposal would have the military shift much of its wireless use into nearby 1,780MHz to 1,850 MHz bands, while moving other tasks into frequencies between 2,025MHz and 2,110MHz. Problem solved? Not quite, unfortunately — NAB members use the 2GHz range for TV, and they’re more than a little worried about interference. The military’s suggestion should kickstart negotiations, though, and carriers are optimistic that there will eventually be a deal that gives them the bandwidth they crave.

Now this is a marriage proposal that will resonate with Harry Potter fans. Rachel was ready to propose to her girlfriend Jaquie, so she enlisted the help of CustomMade, which some people have described as a cross between Etsy and Match.com. It’s basically a site that lets people find artisans who can turn their projects into a reality.

I think it’s safe to assume that Harry Potter played a major role in their relationship, because Rachel had her proposal fashioned after the most popular game in the wizarding world: Quidditch.

The Quidditch proposal set that Rachel commissioned included two Bludgers, one Quaffle, a bat, and of course, the Golden Snitch. All it needs is a charm spell to make everything come alive… Rachel hid the ring in the Snitch (where else?) and presented the set to Jacqui. She said “yes,” Voldemort is still dead, and all is well in the world.
