LG announces Quickmemo feature for Optimus L-Series Smartphones

LG today announced the availability of its highly sought-after QuickMemo feature for its entire line of Optimus L-Series smartphones through a maintenance release upgrade. Currently, the upgrade is being offered in certain regions but will be available globally by the end of 3rd quarter.

LG QuickMemo feature arrives for Optimus L-Series smartphones

LG has kept their promise to make the QuickMemo feature available to more of their smartphone range, and this time around it would be the Optimus L-Series of smartphones that are on the receiving end via a maintenance release upgrade. This particular upgrade is offered in select regions at first, although it will be available around the globe at the end of the 3rd quarter. For the uninitiated, LG’s QuickMemo feature enables one to capture whatever content you see on the screen right there and then, including web pages, graphics, photos and videos. You can then write, draw, or jot a memo onto the captured screen itself using your finger (although a stylus of your choice would also probably work just as well), and this QuickMemo note can then be shared with other folks through a variety of methods – over text, chat, or email.
