Tactical Dinosaur Ready for Battle
Posted in: Today's ChiliIf there is one thing we don’t have enough of, it is tactical dinosaurs. Check out this combat-ready velociraptor from Blue Force Gear that was on display at a recent trade show. I would ride this thing into battle in a second. My only requirement is that it is outfitted with twin laser turrets.
Just imagine these things running around on the battlefield, with military riders and lasers pew-pew-ing everywhere. Nothing beats a Tac-Rap!
At some point, should you get separated from your platoon and night time arrives, you may even have to cut it open so you can stay warm while you sleep. Awesome Empire Strikes Back bonus!

The F-35 Lightning and F-22 Raptor fifth generation fighters are among the most technologically advanced aircraft in history but the fact that they’re barely out of testing (more than can be said about their Russian and Chinese counterparts) doesn’t mean the US military isn’t already designing an even better sixth generation. The F-22 has had more than its fair share of problems, but when it isn’t crashing or suffocating its pilots it’s a sight to behold. I have always believed that scissors are overlooked as weapons and as survival tools. The Leatherman Raptor is a versatile pair of scissors fit for surviving World War Z. While they might come in handy during zombie attacks, the Raptor was actually developed for medics.
This scissor-like multi-tool features stainless shears, a strap cutter, a carbide glass breaker, a ring cutter, a ruler, and an oxygen tank wrench.
Unfortunately, they aren’t available yet – and won’t be until May 2013. The price hasn’t been announced either.
Personally, I’d like to see a model that’s a bit more substantial than this one, something that looks scary, you know, something that you could use to take the head off a zombie.
