"Through the Force, things you will see. The future, the past, old friends long gone." Someone has just found a disc full of behind the scenes, never before seen footage from Return of the Jedi. Two clips were uploaded to a Facebook page yesterday: a silent 59 seconds of R2-D2 repairing Luke’s X-Wing on Dagobah, and a minute of Frank Oz getting fed lines and doing Yoda like only he can (which, in the end, sounds like quite a strain on the ol’ vocal cords).

Did you know that George Lucas originally wanted Luke Skywalker to become Darth Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi? His last lines were going to be "Now I am Vader. Now I will go and kill the [Rebel] fleet and I will rule the universe." That would have been cool. It’s one of ten unknown facts about the movie.

Ewoks. They aren’t quite Jar Jar but…Well, love them or hate them, they know how to deal with Imperials on their forest moon. LEGO is releasing The Ewok Village, a beautifully detailed 1,990 brick model complete with traps, hideouts, and even an elevating throne (for 3PO of course.). The set even comes with 16 minifigs so you can relive all your favorite Endor scenes.

It’s pretty awesome. The set comes with five Ewoks, C-3PO, Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, two Rebels, two Scout Troopers, and two Storm Troopers. The Ewoks are Wicket, Teebo, Chief Chirpa, Logray and a fifth un-named Ewok.

There are also weapons included like a lightsaber, three blasters, two rifles, two spears, a bow and crossbow, and two staffs, so the Ewoks can poke things. This is one awesome set if you love Endor. It will retail for $249.99(USD) and coming this September at LEGO Stores and online at the LEGO Shop.

When I was growing up, I must have listened to my Return of the Jedi album hundreds of times. And if I had dared to paint all over it my dad would have been pissed. Now that I have seen this awesome painted record and am no longer a child, (okay, that is debatable) I might just paint on mine too.

This Return of the Jedi painted montage is just awesome. It features Admiral Ackbar, the Rancor, an Ewok and Salacious Crumb – all painted on vinyl. This is the work of CyclopticSpider with and was done with watercolor paints of all things.  I would think watercolors would be hard to use with all of the grooves, but somehow he pulled it off. He also did Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back versions, in case Ewoks aren’t your thing.

I always wondered what it must have been like for Han Solo when he was frozen in that block of carbonite by Jabba the Hutt. We know that he was cold and blind when he came out of it, but did he dream when inside of it? Was he imagining a life with Princess Leia during his cryonic sleep, or was his brain switched off too? And if he was so cold inside, was he dreaming about sleeping inside a sliced open Tauntaun to keep warm? Who knows. I digress, anyhow, because this USB hub has nothing to do with Solo’s REM cycles – just how he looked in carbonite slumber.
