Back in 2012, Apple launched new MacBook Pro laptops with Retina displays, which are basically MacBook Pros with displays with a higher resolution. Now we’re sure many are wondering if Apple could be applying those Retina displays to the company’s lineup of MacBook Air laptops.

Over the years we’ve seen Google release many versions of Android. For the most part they’re progressive and have made changes and improvements to the Android operating system. However we’ve also seen how Google attempts to target specific devices and markets with different builds of Android.

For example we saw Honeycomb which attempted to target Android tablets. We also have Android KitKat which is aimed at Android devices in general, but focuses on devices with less powerful hardware, and recently Google has also announced Android Wear, a build of Android that targets wearables. Without a doubt Apple will be releasing a new iPhone later this year. The name of the new iPhone, its specs, and its design is pretty much up in the air at the moment, although there are rumors floating about that suggests that the phone could come in two sizes: a 4.7-inch iPhone and a 5.5-inch iPhone.

We guess this move would allow Apple to allow its customers to decide if they want a bigger phone or a smaller phone, although we’re not sure if customers might end up neglecting the 4.7-inch model in favor of the larger one, putting Apple into another iPhone 5c situation again. Majority of the Android-powered devices at this point in time have yet to make the jump over to the Android 4.4.2 KitKat version of the mobile operating system, and it seems that Google is currently testing out version 4.4.3 of Android KitKat, where it comes in the guise of build number KTU72B. This particular bit of information hails from renowned developer LlabTooFeR. Unfortunately, there has been no further information on what kind of new features this particular update will most likely deliver.
