In the past there have been talks about how Apple plans on taking their Apple TV device to the next level, and one of the ways is to turn the set-top box into a device which could stream video content.

Now thanks to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, there are reports where it has been suggested that Apple is currently in talks with Comcast about a collaborative television streaming service in which the content would be delivered to the Apple TV. (more…)

Earlier this year, an LG patent was spotted which seemed to be some kind of smartwatch/stylus combo rolled into a single device. The idea alone is pretty unique but what made it even more interesting was the idea that it could “slapped” onto the wrist, much like those slap bands from back in the 1990s that kids used to play with.

If you grew up in the 90s chances are you might remember those slap bracelets. In any case according to the folks at Phandroid, their sources have told them that this slap bracelet-styled stylus is actually being made a reality, except that instead of it being a smartwatch/stylus combo, they will simply be a stylus that has the ability to curl up (pictured above). The iPhone 6 is probably one the most anticipated smartphones of 2014. Regardless whether you’re a fanboy or a critic, many are definitely curious as to what Apple has to offer. Now we have heard many rumors so far and many of them seem to point towards the iPhone 6 sporting a larger display, the use of the A8 chipset, new sensors, but what about its camera?

If anything Apple is known for including a pretty good camera with its iPhone but for the iPhone 6, sources of AppleInsider have revealed that Apple could be keeping the 8MP camera found on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, or if they aren’t, the upgrade won’t be one that is too huge. (more…)

Microsoft’s BUILD 2014 conference is scheduled to take place between the 2nd of April to the 4th of April. During the event, it is speculated that perhaps Windows Phone 8.1 could be announced, but according to MyNokiaBlog, they are suggesting that not only could Windows Phone 8.1 be announced, but it is possible that the Nokia Lumia 930 and 630 could be announced as well.

They cite a “trusted source” who claims that Microsoft/Nokia could be using the event to launch new Windows Phone handsets. This isn’t too surprising given that during MWC 2014, Nokia did not announce any new Windows Phone handsets. Instead the Finnish company chose to focus their announcements on their Nokia X series of Android handsets as well as some new Asha phones. (more…)

Nokia Lumia 930 And 630 Could Be Announced At BUILD [Rumor] original content from Ubergizmo.

So we have been hearing rumors that Google could be planning on launching a Nexus 8 tablet. The tablet will supposedly feature an 8-inch display although according to recent reports, it seems that the device might instead feature a display closer to 9-inches than 8-inches.

This is according to IHS Technology who revealed the information to the folks at CNET, claiming that Google’s upcoming tablet might sport an 8.9-inch display instead. According to IHS, they also claim that this device will be a “high-performance” tablet and that it might even come with a more premium price tag compared to previous Nexus devices. (more…)
