World Of Warcraft Movie Could Star Colin Farrell And Paula Patton [Rumor]Last we heard, the upcoming World of Warcraft movie by Legendary Pictures is expected to begin filming in 2014, and while the plot of the movie has yet to be revealed, we’re sure many are wondering who will be casted in the movie. We’re sure many World of Warcraft fans out there have already created fantasy and wishlists of actors and actresses they’d like to see in the movie, but according to a rumor from Deadline, they are reporting that Colin Farrell and Paula Patton are some names that Legendary could be interested in.

According to their report, Patton is apparently in the negotiation process over her role in the movie, while Farrell’s role is still a 50-50 chance of happening. Patton might be a name familiar to those who caught the latest Mission Impossible movie, or “2 Guns” where she starred alongside Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg. Entry-level Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumored To Be In The Works

Entry level Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumored To Be In The WorksSamsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 3 earlier this month at IFA 2013 in Berlin, and as usual with Samsung’s Galaxy Note devices, it was priced at a premium, unsurprising given the handset’s specs. However it seems that Samsung might have plans to launch an entry-level version of the Galaxy Note 3, making the phablet a much more accessible device to those who want a phablet but might not necessarily have the funds for it. According the report on ETNews, they claim that the device could be known as the Galaxy Note 3 DUOS and that the handset would sport an LCD screen, an 8MP camera, and a more plastic build which would reportedly save the company 20-30% in costs, which we guess would then be passed onto the consumer.

Apparently Samsung always had plans for an entry-level Galaxy Note 3 but were afraid that if they had launched it the same time as the Galaxy Note 3, it would tarnish the image of the device and ruin its premium status, not to mention make some customers hold out for the cheaper model instead and thus cannibalize sales. While Samsung has yet to confirm any of this, they have in the same created cheaper and smaller versions of their flagship phones, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini comes to mind. In any case the rumors are suggesting a November release, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more info. In the meantime what do you guys think of an entry-level Galaxy Note 3?

Nokia Lumia 2520 Rumored To Arrive On Verizon In Red And Black

Nokia Lumia 2520 Rumored To Arrive On Verizon In Red And BlackLast we heard, Nokia’s upcoming “Sirius” tablet could be known as the Lumia 2520, and now the ever reliable @evleaks is back and according to him, the tablet is expected to arrive on Verizon and will be available in both  black and red finishes. The black finish is new to us because based on earlier leaked photos, the tablet appeared in red with no mention of other colors. However at that time, the tablet did leak with Verizon’s branding on the back of the device with the 4G LTE logo as well, already hinting at the tablet’s availability and at least one of its features.

The tablet is expected to be made available in October and some of its rumored specs include a 10.1” Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.15GHz, a 6.7” Carl Zeiss rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, 32GB of onboard storage, a detachable keyboard/stand, USB ports, support for both AT&T and Verizon’s LTE connection, and will run on Windows RT 8.1. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully the official details will be shared soon. In the meantime what do you guys make of it? Do you think Nokia’s upcoming tablet is going to be a success?

Leaked iPad Mini 2 Casing Shows a Possible 'Space Gray' Version

So with the iPhone 5S, Apple introduced a new ‘Space Gray’ color that is its new black. Not in that tired fashionista way where trends are considered the new black but in a completely literal way in that Apple is calling its black ‘Space Gray’. So maybe it’s not surprising that a supposedly leaked iPad Mini 2 casing shows that it’s also doused in ‘Space Gray’.

More Evidence That ASUS Could Be Making The New Nexus 10

More Evidence That ASUS Could Be Making The New Nexus 10The other day we reported that it was possible that the next-gen Nexus 10 tablet could be made by ASUS instead of Samsung. Now according to the folks at Android Central, they claim to have received a tip by an anonymous person showing off a screenshot from another UK retailer where the Nexus 10 has been referred to as the “ASUS Nexus 10”. This corroborates claims from the other day when UK retailer, PCWorld, had its inventory screenshot leaked which led to speculation that the Nexus 10 could indeed be by ASUS. However it should be noted that this retailer, Currys, is owned by the same company, so it is possible that if the previous entry had been a typo, it could have carried on to this retailer as well.

In any case Samsung was responsible for the first Nexus 10 while ASUS had been tasked with making the Nexus 7. We’re not sure why Google decided to go with ASUS instead of Samsung for their next Nexus 10, if the rumors are true, but given that ASUS has had a decent amount of success with the Nexus 7, perhaps Google is hoping to apply that to the Nexus 10 as well. Either way hopefully Google will be sharing details about the next-gen Nexus 10 soon. Rumor has it that October could be when Google unveils the new Nexus 5, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the company took the opportunity to unveil the Nexus 10 tablet at the same time, so check back with us then for the details.

    ASUS And Acer Merger Rumor

ASUS And Acer Merger RumorMergers and acquisitions are nothing new in the business world, and sometimes, they are seen as crucial as well as essential so that the industry is able to consolidate and offer a better range of services to its customer base. For instance, we do know that Microsoft has purchased Nokia quite recently, but what other buzz do we hear where the mobile world is concerned? Apparently, there are whispers going around that Acer and ASUS could potentially merge. Both of these companies hail from Taiwan, and ASUS Chairman Johnny Shih did respond to a question concerning a possible merger between the two, where he mentioned that the industry happens to be in a transition period, and people should keep “an open mind” when it comes to mergers.

Shih did have a penchant to talk about organic growth for ASUS in the past, but this is a refreshing turnabout. ASUS’ bread and butter, the sales of motherboards, isn’t exactly doing gangbusters, and ASUS seems to focus more on mobile devices recently, so a merger with Acer might benefit both companies. Of course, these are just rumors as at press time, but the market did react favorably to this rumor, with the respective share prices of both companies going up.
