Chances are you won’t see these rare animals at the local zoo because their population is down to the last hundreds. In some cases, it’s much worse than that with only a couple left. Some of these animals you’ve never heard of but others on the verge of extinction are related to animals you know and love—like certain types of tigers, frogs, leopards, turtles, dolphins, etc. In 10 years, they might not exist at all. Sad.
A fire in Valparaíso, Chile has destroyed more than 2,500 homes, left 11,000 people homeless and killed at least 15 people. It’s an unfathomable tragedy that has destroyed an entire community. A 17-year-old male is now in coma after suffering a heart attack when a friend jokingly squeezed his testicles. Dr. Irwin Goldstein—urologist and San Diego Sexual Medicine’s director—says it’s very possible to have a heart attack because the trauma can release a huge amount of adrenalin.
Some people found a baby seal crying for attention far away from the open sea, in the city of Sundsvall, in eastern Sweden. Apparently, instead of calling some emergency service, they just filmed her with their cellphones. A sad sign of the times, I guess. So eventually she was like "wtf, screw you humans," went back into the water, and left.
