Check out this awesome Stormtrooper Easter bunny. I say it’s about time we changed the whole Easter bunny thing and I can’t think of anything better than a Bunnytrooper.
Wait, that’s no moon under his arm. It’s an egg-shaped space station! Forget chocolate and your dumb Easter cards. Forget all that fake plastic grass and Easter egg hunts. Let’s make Easter all about Star Wars toys and the almighty Stormtrooper bunny can be our mascot. We all need one more reason to dress up in our Star Wars garb.
Plus, a Bunnytrooper is just scary enough to scare kids into doing all of their chores and behaving. Let’s make this happen people. I’m having an Imperial Easter this year.
Netflix has turned itself into the most popular paid video streaming destination on the Internet. Netflix works hard and get all sorts of new content from television studios and movie studios. The company also has a few original series that it produces and offers exclusively to its streaming subscribers.
Netflix has announced that it has a new science fiction series in the works called Sense8. The science fiction TV series will come in late 2014 from Georgeville Television. The television series marks the first time that the Wachowskis have ventured into the world of television programming.
Most science fiction fans will recognize the Wachowskis from The Matrix trilogy and other movies they have directed. Another important member of the Sense8 team is J. Michael Stracynski, who is the creator of the popular science fiction TV series Babylon 5 as well as other films such as Thor. The first season of the series will have 10 episodes.
At this point Netflix isn’t offering much detail on the science fiction series. Although the official press release says is that Sense8 is “a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted.” I wonder if Netflix will offer all 10 episodes of the first season at the same time as it has for some of its other original programs.
It’s time drop a couple of claws into the first full-length trailer for The Wolverine, the next chapter in the Hugh Jackman saga surrounding one of the most wild characters in the Marvel Comics universe. Here in this series of revelations (otherwise known as SPOILERS) we find Wolverine, also known as Logan, living further into the future than we’ve yet gone with Marvel on-screen thus far. We see there that his hero is offered thanks from a man whose life had been saved by Wolverine, offering him a gift for his generosity.
Of course with such plot elements finding their way into the trailer itself, we must assume that Wolverine’s trip to Japan happens rather early in the movie. With the man finding his love in Jean Gray lost in a crumpled photo and and reborn in the woman you Wolverine buffs might recognize, he’s brought to the land of the blood red sun where we’ll certainly be seeing some rather emotional moments. No worries though, there’ll be plenty of sword fighting to be had.
When you dive into the Wolverine story archives, you find a massively expansive timeline and versions of the truth – in the comics, that is. If you’re talking about the film series, we’ve still got a lot of questions about how everything in Logan’s life will have happened – and will happen in the future. With this movie it would appear that those with the rights to the Wolverine name have decided that he’ll survive well beyond the lives of his X-Men pals – we’re not expecting many, if any, crossovers here in this installment.
This may well make for a less-than exciting set of battles in future X-Men-centric films – at least for this particular character. What fun is it if we know he survives?
This film will be hitting theaters in July – this international trailer reveals that internationally you’ll be grabbing your seat on July 26th! Have a heart and see Wolverine chop his way to mortality courtesy of a man with a fabulous set of magical science skills this summer – and let us know how it goes!
We’ve seen a couple of TARDIS corsetsbefore, but hubba hubba, these Doctor Who Storybook corsets look sexy AND tell a story at the same time. They are the product of an artist and a clothing designer getting together to make some awesome clothing.
Artist Karen Hallion and Mad Girl Clothing/Pendragon Studios teamed up to produce these corsets that show off Karen’s artwork which shows some classic story book characters heading off for adventures with The Doctor. The art is pretty amazing and it is a great idea.
You can order them over on Etsy for $195(USD) each. You can choose from The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland or Beauty from Beauty and the Beast. And if you prefer van Gogh to Walt Disney, you can always go with this design, with fabric by Studio Fibonacci.
Why have we not seen a companion wearing a corset anyway? I guess it would be hard to blend in with the locals when time traveling.
I would sleep like a Jedi in this awesome AT-AT bed, while dreaming about laying waste to Hoth. Pew, Pew, Pew! Take that rebel scum! What’s that? Pesky Snowspeeders? They are nothing. Wait what? What’s that cable. The legs are all wobbly. We’re going down! Whew! It was only a dream. An amazing dream in an amazing bed! This giant AT-AT loft bed is the best bed ever. Some lucky kid is smiling every night as he lays down inside of this thing.
I don’t know who the parents are that built this awesome thing, but I am kidnapping them and taking them home. I’ve already bought the supplies. Now work, damn you.
Have you ever wanted to have your own Alien embryo preserved in a specimen jar? Sitting on your desk? Of course you do. Who wouldn’t want one? It could be like a fun game where you sit at your desk, never knowing when it is going to hatch and kill you dead. This amazingly detailed clay modeled Xenomorph embryo was created by Yanchuan111 from Shenyang, China – where people apparently don’t fear Xenomorph embryos like other mortal men.
It would be scary, but I would love to have this thing on my desk. The detail is really amazing. Kill it! Kill it now!

No, that is not a message sent from the future by James T. Kirk, warning us to treat the whales nicely. You’re looking at 30 lit quadcopter robots forming a Starfleet insignia in the night sky above London, just because they can.
I don’t care that it is a publicity stunt. This is a great use of robots. The promotional event for the new Trek movie coincided with Saturday night’s Earth Hour, which was meant to encourage people to take one hour and to conserve electricity.
It’s totally okay to use electricity to make robots form a Federation symbol while others save it. I’m cool with that. It was an amazing once in a lifetime geek event. I wish I could have seen this up close and personal, as I’m sure the video doesn’t do it justice.
From the looks of the latest trailer, it seems like the studio behind the Brad Pitt flick World War Z want to have as little association with zombies as possible, and make it look more like a broader disaster flick. The marketing team can do what they want, but those of us who are familiar with the novel know what Max Brooks’ story is really about. A new trailer for the film has surfaced that seems to downplay the whole zombie angle.
Not one time in the new trailer do you see or hear anything about zombies. In fact, the close-ups of the fast and violent zombie scourge have been downplayed in this version of the trailer. This trailer focuses on Brad Pitt’s character and his family. It doesn’t give us any indication of exactly why Pitt’s character is so important to the movie and why the military would go through so much trouble to extricate him and his family when the infected begin to takeover.
The zombies in this film remind me a lot of ants swarming over things and each other to reach their goal. You can check out the new trailer for yourself and tell us what you think.
This cool Doctor Who inspired Victorian TARDIS dress makes me wish we finally had a female Doctor to wear it on screen, though any of the Doctor’s companions would look fantastic in this dress from LoriAnn Costume Designs.
The TARDIS dress includes six pieces that can be worn in different combinations to create the custom look that you want. The dress includes a front and back tie over-bust corset, a long A-line skirt w/trim, a full circle mini skirt with trim, a mid length add-a-bustle with trim – drawstring waist, hoodie bolero shrug and a sleeveless black top w/lace. Whew, that’s a complex and versatile piece of fashion.
If you are interested in owning this amazing TARDIS dress, it will cost you $475(USD) on Etsy, and each outfit is made to your exact measurements.
