Samsung SGH-I337 hits FCC with AT&T LTE bands, fits the GS 4 profile

Samsung SGHi337 hits FCC with AT&T LTE bands, fits the GS 4 profile

We have to be skeptical when new devices arrive at the FCC without photos or a blinking sign that says “I Am AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S 4.” But even doubters can likely tie that model to a certain Samsung SGH-I337 that the FCC just waved through. Why? First off, it’s carrying a certain LTE band 17 used exclusively by AT&T in the US (in addition to bands 2, 4 and 5, also frequently featured by the carrier’s LTE devices). Secondly, the dimensions line up perfectly with the device we recently got our hands on at Samsung’s recent Galaxy S 4 phone-a-palooza. Finally, we already saw a device packing the same model number on UAProf, a normally reliable source that revealed a 1,920 x 1,080 screen and “ARM11” Exynos processor. Since it’s unlikely the carrier has another unannounced 1080p model coming from Samsung, those coveting an AT&T GS 4 can probably start warming up their wallets.

Possible Samsung Galaxy S4 Camera Images Spotted On Google+

Possible Samsung Galaxy S4 Camera Images Spotted On Google+It has been speculated that perhaps the Samsung Galaxy S4 for AT&T could be going by the model number SGH-i337, and assuming that is true, it looks like we might be looking at some camera image samples from the Galaxy S4 (pictured above). The photos were uploaded onto Google+ by a certain Hyunsuk Park, but at this time of posting the photos have since been taken down, leading us to speculate that perhaps there might be some merit to these photos after all.

According to the EXIF data, the photos were snapped by a SGH-i337 and were snapped at a lower resolution, so at this point in time we cannot confirm the rumors of the Galaxy S4 featuring a 13MP camera. The EXIF data also revealed the camera’s aperture at f/2.2 which should make it pretty decent in low light situations, although we’ll probably have to test it ourselves just to be sure. In any case as you can see, the photo is rather blurry so it’s hard to judge the quality or capabilities of the Galaxy S4 just yet, but in the meantime we guess this will have to do.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Is SGH-i337?

sgh i337 AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Is SGH i337?It has been tipped that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be announced in the months to come, and this new generation flagship from Samsung is set to hit across the board of all four major mobile carriers in the US. Well, just like the Samsung Galaxy S3, the model of the Galaxy S4 in the US ought to arrive in different model numbers compared to the international model, which many have widely believed to be called the GT-i9500. Word has it that the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is going to be called the Samsung SGH-i337.

After all, the Samsung SGH-i337 has already appeared at Samsung Mobile’s official website in the form of an .XML file, and it will run on Android Jelly Bean while sporting an expected 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution display. Hmmm, something tells us that Samsung is rather cheeky with the SGH-i337, since it can be read as “leet” which means as “elite” in certain circles. Of course, do take this bit of news with a pinch of salt!
