The Following T-Shirt Has Been Approved as Appropriate Attire

If you watch movies and trailers fairly frequently, then no doubt this shirt will look familiar to you. Its design is based on the Motion Picture Association of America’s (MPAA) film rating review system that informs viewers if what they’re watching is safe for all audiences or not.

It doesn’t copy the entire notice, of course.

Rather, the designer behind it, New Zealand-based artist Barn Bocock of How to Carve Roast Unicorn, made a few choice changes to the text. The layout remains almost entirely the same, though.

Barn calls the design ‘The Following T-Shirt’, which is pretty apt for what it is.

The Following T-Shirt is available to purchase online for $30, and as it says, it’s rated “T” for Teerrific.

Wool & Prince Button Downs: The Lazy Man’s Shirt

Too lazy to wash your shirt after every wear? Then Wool & Prince’s button downs should be perfect for you!

Its makers boast that the shirt can be worn for a hundred days straight without washing it in between. The secret of the shirt lies in the material. It’s made from a unique cotton-soft wool fabric that took Wool & Prince six months to develop, and it looks like their efforts have paid off.

Wool and Prince Shirt

In fact, for care instructions, Wool & Prince says to “let the wool do the work” and only dry clean or gently wash the shirt “when absolutely necessary.”

The 100-day figure was the result of an experiment that the company had 15 wear testers do. Each of them wore the shirt for a hundred days while going about their usual business, from dancing at clubs to backpacking in the Andes. Wool & Prince described them as being “impressed” with the no-odor properties.

Apparently, they’re not the only ones impressed with the shirt. Wool & Prince’s campaign on Kickstarter has raised over $312,000 so far and they’re already sold out of their first batch of no-smell wool shirts.

But no worries – if you’re interested, you can still get on the waitlist. Or you could just use the washing machine.

This Shirt Can Be Worn For 100 Days Without Washing, Which Sounds Incredibly Sketchy But Also Awesome

Who even knows. The creators of Wool&Prince are claiming that you can wear their wool button-down shirts for days on end without them wrinkling, smelling or showing any dirt. Frankly, that sounds ridiculous, but maybe? More »

Meet the Gold Man of Pimpri: Smart Investor or Foolish Romantic?

I don’t know if I should be impressed by Datta Phuge’s foresight or laugh at his naivete. But here he is, Mr. Datta Phuge aka the ‘Gold Man of Pimpri,’ who hails from the Indian city of Pimpri-Chinchwad. Why the ‘Gold Man of Pimpri,’ you might ask? Because of the custom-made and hella expensive 22-karat gold shirt that he had made and now wears wherever he goes.

Gold Shirt GuyI kid you not. Phuge allegedly had the shirt made both as an investment and as something that he hopes will attract the ladies. The shirt took a team of 15 goldsmiths two weeks to make, working 16 hours a day creating and weaving the gold threads.

Regarding the price, it turns out that there’s some confusion as to the actual value of the shirt, with some sources reporting that it’s worth $230,000 and others saying that it’s priced at $23,000. Either way, we think that’s an excessive amount to spend on a mere shirt. Especially one that looks as ridiculous as the one Phuge is wearing proudly in the picture.

Phuge was quoted as saying: “I know I am not the best looking man in the world but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt?”

He doesn’t sound like he knows much about women, does he?

Clever Shirt Turns People’s Buttcracks Into Cleavage (Slightly NSFW)

A plumbing company got creative with their advertising by deploying these ads of a plumber bending over to do some odd jobs at customers’ homes. It’s hard to put what makes it creative into words, so I’d rather just let you see it instead.

Butt ShirtIt’s a shirt featuring a gorgeous bombshell at the back, who’s only printed up to her shoulders. So when the dude bends over and shows a bit of butt crack, she gets some awesome butt boobage – in an attempt to make the usually undesirable butt cleavage more desirable.

Here’s another look:

Thankfully, we don’t see the dude’s faces. The URL featured on the shirt no longer exists, so maybe these ads weren’t hugely successful. But it sure was creative, wasn’t it?

Lumi Process Lets You Print on Fabric – Using Sunlight!

If you’ve ever tried to do tie-dye projects, then you know they can be messy and exhausting if you’re not careful. Plus, the results are unpredictable, so sometimes you can end up with neat threads while you might get some blah-looking patterns for all the other times. As an alternative, there’s Inkodye.

Lumi InkodyeThe entire thing is based on the Lumi process, which makes use of the Inkodye. Inkodyes are mixable, dilutable, and water-based dyes which develop their color under the sunlight. Its makers mean for people to use its light-sensitive properties to their advantage to create artistic prints and even transfer photographic images onto fabric.

The project is currently up for funding on Kickstarter. For a minimum pledge of $35 (USD), you can get a complete Inkodye starter kit that contains everything you need to start dyeing.
