Acer is bringing you their newest short-throw projector, the S1212. Adopting the DLP display technology, the S1212 provides 1024 x 768 XGA resolution, 3000 ANSI lumens brightness, 17000:1 contrast ratio and up to 6,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). In addition, it also comes with a built-in 2W mono speaker and a number of connectivity ports including D-Sub, Composite, S-Video, Audio (in/out), mini USB and HDMI/MHL. Hitachi hits back with their new short-throw projector, the CP-AW252WN. Adopting the 3LCD display technology, the CP-AW252WN is able to project a 100-inch image from a distance less than 3 feet away. Apart from that, it also provides 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio and up to 5000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode).
