I-O Data has added a new single-band wifi router to its product page, the WN-G300R2. Corresponding to the standard Wireless LAN IEEE802.11n/g/b, the WN-G300R2 comes with one Internet LAN port, four LAN ports, a WPS button, ‘WiFi Settings Easy’ feature (obtained by simplifying a complicated setting operation, can be connected by simply holding up an NFC-enabled smartphone) and supports for single-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps). WN-G300R2 will start shipping from late February for 4,200 Yen (about $41). [I-O Data]
