From the usual viewer’s vantage point, it’s hard to appreciate the violent physics of a really great series of skate park tricks. That’s why this video shot from underneath pro skater Dean-Paul Denniston’s board is so mesmerizing: you get a front-row seat to all the grinding, slamming, kickflipping action.
Boy, this kid is fearless. Actually, I’m not sure Kahlei Stone-Kelly from Australia is even old enough to be called a kid. He’s just a baby. A two-year-old toddler in diapers who’s already better at skateboarding that many full grown human adults. Just look at him go and display excellent balance, a little bit of trickery and a whole ‘lotta cool as he glides on that board.
A regular old skateboard isn’t fun enough for you? What about nine skateboards attached to each other to form a complete circle skateboard? It’s the goofiest way to move on wheels since your chance of falling off is infinitely more likely and well, just look at the damn thing.
Unless you’re a doctor, retired, or the kid of someone who already plays, golf seems like an impossibly boring undertaking. Its only redeeming factor is tooling around a course on a golf cart, or even better, this electric-powered skateboard that’s strong enough to carry you and your clubs.

Seriously, how big is this parking lot? You’ve been walking for a good five minutes and your company’s office building is still just a speck on the horizon. But with this self-propelled pintail, that hike through the car park will sail right by.
The Segway is probably never going to change the world the way Dean Kamen had hoped, but at the least it encouraged humanity to dare to dream of a world where we’d never have to balance ourselves ever again. And keeping that dream alive and well is the S-Walker Board. It’s like you tossed a skateboard, a balance board, and a Segway into a blender; and the results are a rideable two-wheeled deck that’s anything but extreme.
When we first saw the ZBoard, an electric skateboard with weight-sensor controls, we hoped it would be the first powered skateboard that could actually ride, well, like a skateboard. We tested it out today and it’s exactly that: a fun ass skateboard that can move on its own. More »
The Urban Shredder—possibly the unholy offspring of a motorcycle and skateboard—looks like a cycle shop custom creation designed for only the most extreme/insane riders.
