Skyrim Nord Bow Replica: Skyforge IRL

I just want to stare all day at this amazing Skyrim Nord bow. It looks so authentic and beautiful. According to the maker it isn’t functional yet, but that shouldn’t be too difficult. Once it actually shoots, it will take your your knee clean off. Then you can complain about it forever.

It was created by “propmaker, artist, costumer, and all around fan of gaming, sci-fi, and miscellany” Carmen from Fev Studios. Carmen, you have some mad skills, but I gotta say…”You’ll shoot your eye out kid!” Just saying. Be careful. That thing looks deadly. Deadly awesome.

This bow is about 52″ long. Carmen is a true weaponsmith with a skill level that you can’t even put a number on. Seriously, she’s leveling up all the time. I’m fairly scared of her, seeing her handle this weapon. That armor is pretty sweet too.

Head to Folkenstal to order these items. I’m not sure if they’ve been already bought, but some of the armor featured here are not on the shop as of this writing. I wonder if you’ll get a discount on the other items if you get the Amulet of Zenithar first. Yeah! Inside joke! Thanks Google!

Skywind Is Morrowind Remade Using Skyrim’s Engine

Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls’ lineup of games have been pretty fun and somewhat expansive, and the latest title, Skyrim, has been receiving a lot of attention due to its gameplay, not to mention the fact that there has been a ton of mods that transforms the game into something else entirely. While we’ve seen mods try to enhance the game, here’s a mod that seems to focus more on an older Elder Scrolls’ title, Morrowind.

Basically what has happened is that a group of fans have decided to give the game a visual makeover using Skyrim’s engine. Given that the game saw a release back in 2002, it is safe to say that it could definitely use a visual overhaul. At the moment the project is in the works and is planned for a release next year. It is a pretty extensive makeover as there will be new voice-acting and music introduced to the project and is dubbed Skywind, a combination of Morrowind and Skyrim.

Based on what we can see in the video above, it looks pretty epic and if you’ve enjoyed Morrowind and wouldn’t mind seeing it in more modern graphics, this is definitely a project worth keeping an eye on! So, who else is impressed by their efforts so far?

Skyrim: Into The Void Fanmade Film Is Pretty Epic

If you’re a fan of Skyrim, then perhaps you might want to take 20 minutes from your day and check out this live-action fanmade Skyrim film. It’s extremely well-put together, the effects are great, and the acting is pretty good too! According to the film’s creator, this short, dubbed “Into the Void”, has been described as, “Dovahkiin, the noble dragonborn hero, is cursed in a fight with a vampire. He spends a considerable time wandering the realm before being captured by the Dark Brotherhood, who offer him a deal. Dovahkiin agrees to help the Brotherhood save a captured member from the Necromancers, in exchange for a cure to his vampirism.” Even if you’ve never played the game before, the film itself is pretty entertaining in its own way so if you’d like to check it out, click the video above for the details!

The Elder Scrolls Anthology Announced For $79.99

The Elder Scrolls Anthology Announced For $79.99If you’re a fan of the Elder Scrolls series of games, you might be interested to learn that at QuakeCon, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls Anthology which essentially bundles all the Elder Scrolls games into a giant collection made for the PC. The entire collection is set to arrive in stores come 10th of September and will be priced at a somewhat reasonable $79.99, and given that some of the games are pretty old, but some like Skyrim are relatively new, we guess that’s not too bad of a price to pay, especially if you’re a fan.

The anthology will feature all five original games: The Elder Scrolls Arena, The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (including Tribunal and Bloodmoon), The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (including Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles), and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and its three accompanying DLCs: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. The bundle will also come with five physical maps that details the lands of Tamriel, Iliac Bay, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim, and will be packed in an exclusive collector’s set.

Guy Creates 25 Hours of Additional Gameplay for Skyrim as His Resume

How do you stand out from the crowd so that prospective employers notice you? Well, there are lots of ways, but it is best to somehow show the quality of your work in an eye-catching way. Wow them. That’s what Alexander J. Velicky did. He created 25 extra hours of Skyrim.

    skyrim mod
The 19-year-old Velicky loves Bethesda and would love to work for them, so he spent 2,000 hours creating a mod called “Falskaar” that adds 25 hours of gameplay to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. He created a land mass a third as big as the original map, which is pretty massive. He used 29 voice actors to record new dialog for his NPCs, and recruited over a 100 total people to help him with Falskaar. Now, he waits for a job.

“The best way to show Bethesda Game Studios that I want a job there and should be hired is to create content that meets the standards of their incredible development team,” he says.

I applaud his tactics and his enthusiasm.
