AMD Never Settle bundle gives Radeon HD 7000 buyers free games they'd actually care to play

Just about anyone who has bought more than one aftermarket graphics card knows that bundled games rarely matter. They’re usually year-old titles or neutered editions built only to showcase the GPU’s performance for a few hours. AMD thinks its Never Settle bundle might finally get us to notice. Buy any modern Radeon HD video card from the 7770 GHz Edition on up and you’ll get a download code for at least one new game you’d genuinely want to try, ranging from Far Cry 3 on basic cards to a full three-game deal that supplies Far Cry 3, Hitman: Absolution and Sleeping Dogs to high rollers buying the 7900 series. There’s likewise a discount for Medal of Honor: Warfighter and promises of bundles in 2013 for Bioshock Infinite and the reimagined Tomb Raider. As long as you’re not dead set on springing for a GeForce board in the next few months, one of the qualifying cards might be worth a look to jumpstart your game collection.

Sleeping Dogs Is Your There-Goes-Your-Weekend Deal of the Day

Sometimes deals are too good to last. It happened this past weekend: Amazon rolled out a Square Enix bundle pack with Just Cause 2, and it sold out in hours. It was supposed to last a week. But sometimes disappointment brings opportunity: Amazon replaced it with a blanket coupon code, which, fittingly, can be used to save on another excellent Square Enix game—Sleeping Dogs. More »

Sleeping Dogs was released not too long ago by United Front, and for those unfamiliar the game is essentially the reboot of the True Crime franchise. It is without doubt one of the most action packed games around and if you’ve managed to blaze your way through the content and were looking for more, you might be interested to learn that DLCs for the game are available for download. The rest feel more like they’re giving you items that you could probably get yourself in the game if you had the time and patience, but then again we guess there are players out there who wouldn’t mind dropping a couple of bucks for them anyway. In any case according to their official description, the DLCs offered are: (more…)

If you love action-packed games, then we got something for you. In Febuary this year, we wrote about Square Enix’s Sleeping Dogs, a spin-off of Activision’s True Crime franchise. Activision decided to axe the game early this year together with the Guitar Hero franchise. Thankfully, Japanese game developer and publisher Square Enix stepped in and revamped it into what we now know as Sleeping Dogs.

Today, Square Enix has published a new trailer for the game, but this time, it’s extra special. Square Enix has asked French Canadian mixed martial artist and the current Welterweight Champion of the UFC, Georges St-Pierre, to show off the game’s melee fighting system. St-Pierre, widely known as GSP, reportedly shared his fighting expertise with the developers to take the game to a whole new different level. (more…)
