A farmer in Gilman, Minessota, decided he have had enough of the snow that was ruining his greenhouses, so he decided to start piling it all up into this 50-foot-tall snowman. Because why not.

Winter is in full swing in most of the country. While it was nearly 70-degrees in Texas yesterday, many Northern states are still swathed in deep snow and frigid temps. Not having snow in Texas, it’s always fun to see the winter shenanigans that people in colder climates get up to.
Not to be outdone by the Brits, a guy named Steve Marcote in Massachusetts has built his own 6-foot-tall Dalek snowman. It’s definitely cool and appears to use a plunger and a paint roller frame for arms. I wonder what he used to get all the rectangular indents done.
The Dalek snowman is impressively accurate looking for a snow creature. Now Steve needs to build a snow TARDIS to sit alongside it.

I don’t know about you, but don’t you think that the weather channel is more or less obsolete these days? I know that I have not relied on the weather report for more than a decade or two already, but perhaps it is just me, as I have yet to perform a survey to figure out whether the weather channel is relevant or not. During winter, kids would always love to hear that school is closed because too much snow has fallen over the night – which translates to having a round of snowball fights and perhaps spending some family time building a snowman with dad and mom.

England has been having quite a bad winter this year, with snow continuing well into this month. That’s why I wouldn’t be surprised if Doctor Who landed his TARDIS somewhere in the UK and encountered this… a snow Dalek.
Thankfully, Davros didn’t create an actual snow Dalek. It’s just a harmless sculpture made by DeviantArtist E-The-Zombie and her sister Fezhead11, and it’s not even in the UK.
While a snow Dalek might want to exterminate you, the good news is that you can actually just pour warm water over it to put it out of commission. I suppose that’s easier than having to install staircases everywhere.
