South Park Censored Scenes Deleted From Disc

South Park Censored Scenes Deleted From DiscIt pays to tread on eggshells when it comes to game releases, as you can never quite tell just which particular group you are going to offend should the in-game material of choice happen to be controversial to some. We have learned that South Park’s censored scenes have been removed from disc itself in order to avoid plunging into another potential ‘Hot Coffee‘ situation, which would be a hot potato that is not worth handling. So far, the alleged producer touted that five versions were created for different territories, with the North/South American release being the only version that is “completely uncensored on every platform”.

Bill Gates Appear In South Park Xbox One-PS4 Episode

Bill Gates Appear In South Park Xbox One PS4 EpisodeWhen you are an icon like Bill Gates, you can be sure that many people would look up to you, as well as some might want to poke some good old fashioned fun in your direction through a satire or parody. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have recently conjured two of the more memorable episodes of South Park to date, where they actually shared a story in where Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny saw their friendship being put to the extreme test due to the Xbox One-Playstation 4 console wars. At least this is one cartoon that keeps up with the times in terms of being updated. Not only that, there were special appearances by Microsoft chairman Bill Gates and CEO Steve Ballmer in the second episode.

In the third and final installment of South Park’s Xbox One-PS4 trilogy, it deals with both next generation game consoles, and it remains to be see just which particular console would come up tops. Bill Gates too, will make another appearance, in addition to more Game of Thrones references thrown around. Needless to say, an unpredictable ending is a good one, so the final outcome is something worth looking forward to since it has been touted to be different from what some folks would have thought it to be.

South Park hilariously nails everyone’s problem with cable companies

Sure, complaining about cable is probably the quintessential first world problem but it’s like cable companies get off in screwing you over. A Power Outage Made South Park Miss an Episode for the First Time

South Park: The Stick of Truth sees a delay of an additional two months

We’re sure that there are many South Park fans out there who are eager to get their hands on the South Park MMO, The Stick of Truth. The game was originally pegged for a released in March 2013, but in a recent statement released by THQ, it seems that the game has been delayed by an additional two months, pegging it for a release in May 2013, assuming there are no more delays in the process of course. According to THQ, the reason behind the delay is basically the same spiel that companies give when they delay their releases, which is to provide more time to its developers to help polish the game further and make it a great product for the masses to enjoy.

I believe South Park’s market opportunity is significant. It is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated titles of calendar 2013. It is also an expansive title, encompassing multiple television seasons’ worth of content. We have been working closely with the co-creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, to make sure all of the game’s content performs to the high standards of the TV show, and this takes time. THQ is committed to giving gamers no less than the rich South Park game they have been waiting for and deserve.

In any case we guess having a game delayed is better than having a game released early and have it filled with bugs and whatnot, right?

The Making of South Park: 6 Days To Air Proves Crude Jokes Require Incredible Commitment [Movie Night]

The guys behind South Park might laugh a lot during the process, but the making of the weekly animated show is a brutal endeavor. This documentary, released last fall, joins creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone after the debut of their Broadway show “The Book of Mormon,” just as the pair have returned to LA to work on the TV show’s 15th season premiere. You have to admire the intense work ethic driving the show’s breakneck production cycle. More »
