Pasta Pops: Spaghetti-Flavored Popsicles

If there’s one place where spaghetti-flavored popsicles would exist, then it would be Japan. True enough, frozen treats that are packaged and sold as being spaghetti-flavored are available in the land of the rising sun.

To the adventurous, this is just another unique treat to try. For others, it’s something to avoid at all costs.

Icy tomatoes and bits of meat don’t exactly sound like a very delectable frozen treat. However, while the image above of the spaghetti popsicles have made the rounds on the Internet, its actual taste hasn’t been confirmed yet. It could be that it’s packaged as spaghetti popsicles in the sense that it’s the color of tomato sauce when it’s mushed with the pasta, though I prefer to assume that it’s made from actual spaghetti and meatballs.

Gari-Gari Kun, the company that makes these popsicles, also make Corn Pottage and Rice Cakes with Bean Paste-flavored popsicles.

Pizzaghetti Sloche: Slurp Your Pizza and Drink Your Spaghetti

Pizza and spaghetti are probably two of the most popular junk food items that people both young and old enjoy. They’re not the healthiest things on the menu, but if you’re just looking for a quick bite to eat, then what’s quicker or easier to pick up than pizza or pasta?

It’s about to get even quicker albeit colder with Canadian convenience store chain Couche-Tard’s new offerings: Pizzaghetti Sloche, aka pizza and spaghetti slushies.

If you barfed a little in your mouth at the thought of that, then you’re not alone. I honestly love pizza and spaghetti – the kind that you chew and swallow, not the kind you slurp – so I’m not sure what Couche-Tard was thinking with their newest slushy treat.

As you can see, each flavor has a different slush serve machine. The pizza sloche is on the left, while the spaghetti sloche is on the right. Taste them separately, mix both together…the choice is yours.

Not everything is as it seems though. Comments left by Redditors who had access to a Pizzaghetti sloche machine claim that the pizza slush tastes like strawberry, while the spaghetti slush tastes like lemon.

Does that bit make you more keen to try it… or did it leave you a bit disappointed?

A Woman Robbed a Bank with a Can of Spaghetti Sauce
