Intel has just added a new storage capacity to its SSD 330 Series by launching the 240GB model. Just like the 60GB, 120GB and 180GB models, the 240GB model is also equipped with 25nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a SandForce SF-2281 controller and capable of delivering read and write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 450MB/s, respectively. Kingmax hits back with a new line of mSATA SSDs, the MMP20. Coming in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB sizes, these compact and lightweight SSDs are compliant with JEDEC MO-300B standard, have a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, support Intel Smart Response Technology (SRT) and capable of delivering read/write speeds of up to 70/22 MB/s (16GB Model), 125/40 MB/s (32GB Model), 150/70 MB/s (64GB Model) and 150/120 MB/s (128GB Model), respectively. OCZ’s latest line of SSDs ‘Vertex 3 Low Profile’ is finally making its way to Japan. These SSDs (60GB, 120GB, 240GB & 480GB Models) will become available in Japan from mid-July via ASK Inc.
