Intel Outs 240GB SSD 330 Series

Intel has just added a new storage capacity to its SSD 330 Series by launching the 240GB model. Just like the 60GB, 120GB and 180GB models, the 240GB model is also equipped with 25nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a SandForce SF-2281 controller and capable of delivering read and write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 450MB/s, respectively. Links International has just added a new SSD ‘Ninja-256′ from Plextor to its product page. Coming in 256GB capacity, this slim 2.5-inch SSD (7mm thick) features a deep red aluminum enclosure, 34nm MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a Marvell 88SS9174 controller, a MTBF of 1.5 million hours, TRIM support and promises to deliver read and write speeds of up to 530MB/s and 370MB/s, respectively.
