Breaking Bad is undoubtedly one of the least romantic shows ever on TV, but that doesn’t stop superfans out there who love it enough to get engaged by using the theme of the show. This couple did a great job with a series of engagement photos based on the show.

These pictures from Redditor hshshshshshshs make me wonder if they are going to start cooking meth on their honeymoon. Well, you know what they say, the couple that cooks meth together stays together. But which one is the cook and which is the dealer?

Congratulations you guys. Just make sure you bury your wedding gift money somewhere safe and don’t let your DEA brother-in-law know what you are doing.

It’s no secret that there are plenty of significantly obese people on the planet right now and these people face problems that you and I never even think about. Like if they will fit into an airplane seat or even on a conventional toilet seat. And since necessity is the mother of invention, some new toilet seat technology is here to help.

And by technology, I simply mean that this toilet seat expands to fit even the widest of loads. However if your butt is wide enough to use this thing I can’t see how it will help you much. It just looks like it would break – though its maker claims it can support weights up to 1,000 pounds. And if you weigh that much, you’ve got much bigger problems than your toilet seat.

The touchscreen and app combo of today’s mobile devices makes one gadget act as many. Different apps display different interfaces, and the touchscreen lets you interact with those interfaces in a natural manner. But what if, aside from changing what you can see, your gadget’s display could also change its shape? That’s what MIT’s Tangible Media Group wants to realize.

What you’re looking at is Tangible Media Group’s inFORM. It’s made of a Kinect, a projector, a computer, pins, linkages and actuators. inFORM can mimic the shape and motion of 3D objects in real time. For example, a monitor can show a two-dimensional replica of your arm, but with inFORM you can have a tangible, 3D replica of your arm. And since it’s 3D you can use that replica arm to carry or move objects just by moving your own arms.

Equally important is inFORM’s ability to act as a collection of 3D pixels, a way of giving physical manifestation to digital information. For instance, it can make actual 3D charts, give you a tangible version of a 3D model in an instant and present even more intuitive user interfaces.

inFORM is a step towards the Tangible Media Group’s dream that it calls Radical Atoms, a “hypothetical generation of materials that can change form and appearance dynamically, becoming as reconfigurable as pixels on a screen… so that dynamic changes of physical form can be reflected in digital states in real time, and vice versa.”

Imagine watching horror films on a Radical Atom TV.  Imagine “holding” your loved ones as you chat with them on Radical Atom walls and floors. Imagine controlling a giant mech made of Radical Atoms. Imagine visualizing mind-boggling equations and predictions on a Radical Atom spreadsheet. Imagine having a physical keyboard or game buttons on your Radical Atom mobile device. Aww yiss.

Schildi was a pet turtle living in Germany, presumably leading a happy life, gnawing on greens and taking forever to get anywhere as turtles do, but when he was abandoned, he lost a leg somehow. Luckily for Schildi, he was rescued, and vets were able to amputate his mangled limb. They replaced it with mankind’s solution for all things: LEGO.

Yes, this turtle now has a LEGO wheel in place of its front right leg. Because let’s face it, a shopping cart wheel just would have been annoying on everyone’s ears. The doctor used a special surgical glue to stick the base block underneath Schildi and then superglue to connect the corners of the block:

“After that we could add blocks to achieve the correct height,” he said. And now the single wheel has proven to be successful, Schildi has been taken back to the animal shelter. “We will see him again once in a while for check-ups,” Azmanis said. “If he gets a ‘flat tyre’ it will be a simple matter to replace the wheel. They move around quite a lot so I’d expect to see him for a new wheel about once a year.”

They should have put a LEGO castle on his back while they were at it. That would be awesome.

Have you ever wanted to feel like Emperor Palpatine, or Davros, the creator of the Daleks? Well, now you can get closer to that sensation, thanks to this off-road machine. It looks like the ultimate wheelchair, putting all other wheelchairs to shame.

Der Zeisel, which means “the seat” in German, looks like a combination of a tank and a mobility scooter. However, it’s able to handle snow, grass, mud, and sand. A racing seat was bolted onto a tube steel frame and its two off-road tracks are powered by electric disk motors, which produce 21 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque. The included battery pack will operate the seat for up to five hours, driving at a maximum speed of 22 mph.

Der Zeisel is controlled by a one-handed joystick, and the vehicle is fitted with wooden armrests, metal mudguards, and comes in a variety of awesome paint jobs. You’ll have to shell out about $30,000(USD) to get yours.
