Cross-Link confirmed for PS Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken

If you’re planning on picking up Street Fighter X Tekken for your PlayStation Vita, you might be pleased to learn that it has been confirmed that the Vita version of the game will feature Cross-Link. For those unaware, Cross-Link is a feature that lets you use the PS Vita as a controller for the console version of the game. This is of course assuming that you own both the PlayStation 3 version and the Vita version of the game in the first place. This might be handy for those who wish to play the game while on the go, and at home but don’t want to have to switch controllers due to the different feel of the Vita’s controls versus the regular PlayStation 3’s game pad. The Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken will be available come 23rd of October, a date that some of you guys might want to mark down on your calendars.

Street Fighter X Tekken makes its way onto iOS

Good news gamers, if you’re looking for a new game to play on your brand new iPhone 5, Capcom has announced the availability of Street Fighter X Tekken on mobile. The game will be available for iOS devices although we’re not sure if the game will be taking advantage of the iPhone 5’s new 16:9 display, so if you’re interested you will probably have to download it to find out. The game is currently on sale and has had its price reduced from the original $4.99 to $2.99 so even if you don’t plan on playing this now, perhaps you can get it on discount now and figure out what to do with it later. There’s even multiplayer mode where players can compete against each other over WiFi. Capcom also noted in the app that due to iOS 6, the graphics of the game might look darker compared to iOS 5 but it is an issue they’re looking into. If you’d like to see more screenshots or get the game for yourself, pop on over to Apple’s iTunes App Store for the download.

Mega Man and Pac Man will remain as Street Fighter X Tekken PlayStation 3 exclusives

Gamers, if you were looking forward to getting both the Mega Mac and Pac Man characters as a DLC for Street Fighter X Tekken, you might be disappointed to learn that these two characters will remain as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, meaning that Xbox 360 gamers will not be able to gain access to them. This was confirmed by the game’s producer, Tomoyaki Ayano during an interview with Siliconera. He also addressed the issue of how some hackers found data for both characters on the Xbox 360 discs, leading many to believe that both Mega Man and Pac Man would be available on the Xbox 360.
