Piv-O Convertible Stroller Can Provide Years Of Transportation For Your Child

As a soon-to-be father, I can tell you that one of the most challenging new purchases my wife and I have to make is buying a stroller as we want our baby to be as comfortable as possible while we take her out for a stroll. Buying a new stroller each time your child grows out of the old one can be extremely expensive, which is why the Piv-O Stroller is something that I’d be extremely interested in. (more…)

Convertible Piv-O Stroller Grows with Your Child

Babies are expensive. Not the actual babies (of course, nobody goes shopping for babies. And if they do, that’s illegal) but the cost of raising them and providing them with not only their needs, but their wants as well.

Strollers are a must-have for every parent, unless they can carry their child for hours on end when they’re out and about. As with most gear that’s made for kids, your child will outgrow the stroller in a matter of years. If you want more bang for your buck, then you should check out the Piv-O stroller.

The Piv-O Stroller was designed by Luis Pereira Twist. It’s a convertible stroller that can later be transformed into a walker and then a tricycle, which means you’ll be able to use it for the majority of your child’s early years.

The bad news? It’s still a concept design for now, but hopefully someone out there will pick up on it.

Millennium Falcon Stroller Does the Grocery Store Run in 12 Parsecs

When you care enough to give your baby an awesome geek ride like this Millennium Falcon Stroller, you are the best parent ever. Now you can smuggle cargo like stinky diapers and teething rings in style. Everybody buckle in and stand by for Diaperspace!

This awesome baby vehicle was spotted at Akron Comicon over the weekend and even though it looks like it is piloted by a drunk Yoda, it is actually for the kid seen here. It looks like the whole ship just goes right on top of the existing stroller, so you can switch vehicles with ease.

The only downside is that there is no wookiee for a co-pilot.

Mass Effect Normandy Baby Stroller: Reaper Babies Watch out!

It’s never too early to get your child into video games. You could seat them beside you as you play, dress them up like your favorite video game characters, even create flash cards that teach them about games and heroes. Another cool way is to build them an awesome stroller like this one here.

This Mass Effect baby stroller was recently spotted at GeekGirlCon ’13 and needless to say, this kid is the most popular on the playground. That stroller looks just like the Normandy and I bet it even goes faster than a normal stroller.

Any video game fan with a little kid wishes they had this to push their baby around in.

ŠKODA vRS Mega Man-pram is a Baby Stroller for Real Men

To celebrate the launch of their fastest ŠKODA car ever, the Octavia vRS, the company has something for dads who want their toddlers to travel in style. This baby stroller is called the vRS Mega Man-Pram and it has the same styling as a ŠKODA car.

Your toddler is going to pushed around in luxury. It is much taller than any conventional baby carriage, at two meters high and has wing mirrors, hydraulic suspension, oversized brake calipers, anti-stress grips, headlamp beam and 20 inch alloy wheels. It also has adjustable lumbar support and nice upholstery.

This baby carriage came into being after a survey conducted with 1000 dads when asked what they wanted to push their kids around in.

Landspeeder Push Cart Comes in Handy when Shopping in Mos Eisley

If you want your kid to have the Star Wars experience, start them at an early age. Make them a landspeeder stroller and push them around while you go shopping.

In the image it is being used to haul some bags, but there is some lucky kid that gets to ride in this thing. It’s one of the best first sets of wheels a kid can have. It’s all downhill from there. He or she is going to want an X-Wing or a Millenium Falcon for his 16th birthday.

This stroller was spotted at Denver Comic Con. Of course. You have never seen such a wretched hive of geeks and nerdery.

The Aston Martin of Strollers is Actually an Aston Martin

Aston Martin does make some beautiful cars, but let’s be honest, not many people can afford them. Maybe that’s the reason why you should get your baby the Aston Martin of strollers. Yes, Aston Martin actually makes a stroller – and it might be the only way you can ever afford an Aston.

The Silver Cross Surf Aston Martin Edition Baby Stroller is limited to a production run of just 800 pieces. The luxury stroller is finished in anodized aluminum and magnesium alloy, with a seat made from Alcantara and leather. The carrycot for your little one is made from more Alcantara, performance fabric and leather. The Alcantara harness and buckle protector will help keep your child safe while you’re zooming around. There’s also a hood, apron, winter footmuff, sun shade, rain shield, and a folding, detachable shopping basket. What, no GPS?

While the stroller won’t cost you as much as a DB9, you’ll still have to spend roughly £2,000 (~$3,031 USD) to get yours.

Mechanized Steerable Stroller: Baby’s First Mech

We’ve featured a couple of cool and geeky baby strollers, but Xandon Frogget’s creation trumps them all: a stroller that can drive itself around, or let an adult or toddler steer it themselves, but still avoid obstacles. Because your baby can’t argue his way out of a ticket.

    mechanized stroller by xandon frogget

The mechanized stroller is equipped with two Kinect sensors, one facing forward and the other facing backwards. The sensors scan for surrounding obstacles and relay their scouting data to a computer, which then controls the wheelchair motors that drive the wheels. In the demo video below the computer in question is a Nook Color and the steering implement is a Wii controller on a steering wheel attachment.

You can order the other components or an entire mechanized stroller from Frogget’s website. Expect to pay $2,500-$3,500 (USD). It’s expensive, but according to Frogget the wheelchair motors can support up to 300lbs., so perhaps, when the baby – and the neighbors – are asleep, mommy or daddy can take a ride on it and imagine they’re piloting a mech.

Baby Stroller Gets 125cc Engine, Heading for 50mph Top Speed

When you have a baby, one of the first things that you need is a good stroller. I mean, you have to let your kid have some sunlight. Sunlight is good, along with a walk at a nice leisurely pace. Well, that wasn’t fast enough for one dad.
    baby stroller
So Colin Furze built a stroller (or pram, as they like to call them in England) with a 10 horsepower. 125cc engine that’s designed to propel Colin and his one-month-old son Jake up to speeds of around 50mph. That’s way too fast. All the ladies can’t even eww and ahh over your baby at those speeds as you speed past them. So what’s the point of even taking your kid out for a stroller ride?

This kid is going to be all about speed for his entire life now. Forget college. Start paying for his speeding tickets. The stroller even has 4 gears to help with hill-climbing and a cup holder.

Tusken Raider Pushes a Pod Racer Stroller – Why Not?

The last time we saw a Tusken Raider and a Pod Racer together, the Raider was shooting at it. That’s not the case here. Either things got so bad in the race that he ended up pushing it and refuses to give up or he’s just starting this kid off young, hoping to make him a Pod Racing champion.
    pod racer
This Tusken Raider is not wearing the traditional gear of his people either, unless there’s a Nike Store on Tatooine now. This custom-built Anakin’s Pod Racer baby stroller was spotted being pushed in the last leg of the “Course of the Force” race in San Diego.

That Pod Racer looks sweet though. Look how shiny it is. And the little Anakin has a lightsaber at the ready just in case any other racers try to pass him.
