Nothing makes a fashion accessory more interesting than a backstory, and Shwood’s new limited edition line of sunglasses have a fascinating pedigree. They’re all made from ash wood salvaged from actual Louisville Slugger baseball bats shattered during games played around the world.
Sick of all those times when a screw comes loose on your favorite frames and there’s not an itty-bitty repair kit in sight? Feast your eyes on the Alessi’s new Kompas collection, a series of stylish glasses that hinge with no-fuss magnetic inserts, eliminating the need for spare parts or tightening over time.
If you want to be cool like Boba Fett, it isn’t easy. You need an awesome ship, a bounty hunting license, some really rad armor and a backpack with jets. You are also going to want a pair of cool sunglasses for when you are sitting on the beach relaxing after a tough job.
These awesomely Boba Fetted-out sunglasses match Fett’s Mandalorian armor with an overall green color scheme, along with some yellow and burgundy accents. They even have Fett’s Mandalorian and bounty hunter symbols all over. Fett may be tough, but even he needs UV protection from Tatooine’s dueling suns. These stylish sunglasses have it.
These cool shades are only $19.99(USD) from Entertainment Earth. Because a bounty hunter needs to look good both on and off the job.

Want to embrace Recon Instruments’ sunglasses-based vision of the future before it officially reaches store shelves? You can: the company has just started pre-orders for its Jet heads-up display in a $499 Pilot Edition. The inaugural eyewear will come with apps for both cyclists and triathletes, and it should beat the production model to market by several months. There’s even a financial incentive for that impatience, as the pricing goes up to $599 on July 21st. If you don’t mind a potentially rough experience while tracking your mid-race performance, the Pilot Edition is waiting at the source link.

Thanks to the force of electricity, these Star Wars sunglasses will not only shield you from bright light, they can also help you see – or at least stand out – in the dark thanks to LEDs on the sides of the frames.
The sunglasses also have lightsaber handles printed on their arms. Like Darth Maul’s lightsaber, there are LEDs on both sides of the handles. But the sunglasses don’t just come in Sith red; they also have Jedi blue and Jedi green frames.
I wonder if these are officially licensed or just clones. You can order the sunglasses from Hot Topic for $16.50 (USD).

A Jedi’s hooded cloak is a great way to keep the sun out of their eyes, but on scorching hot days, especially on planets like Tatooine with two suns, it has to be unbearable under there. Until now the only real solution was to build a moon-sized space station to simply blow up a glaring sun, but now there’s these glowing lightsaber sunglasses as a cheaper alternative.
