Moto Maker Opening Up For T-Mobile This Friday [Rumor]

Moto Maker Opening Up For T Mobile This Friday [Rumor]Yesterday we reported that the Motorola Moto Maker for the Moto X will be made available for Sprint subscribers come 11th of November, and now according to a report by @evleaks (who has been pretty spot on with these rumors in the past), it looks like T-Mobile will soon gain access to the Moto Maker feature come Friday. The Moto Maker website was originally an exclusive for AT&T Moto X users where they were allowed to customize their Moto X handsets beyond the choices of black and white, which were the only options available for other carriers.

We’re not sure when Verizon will get access to the Moto Maker feature, but presumably with T-Mobile getting access on Friday, and Sprint on Monday (assuming the rumors are accurate), it shouldn’t be long before Verizon gets access as well. As it stands there are still some features missing from the Moto Maker website, such as the ability to engrave your smartphone, as well as get access to the wooden backpanel option, which we have to admit is probably one of the coolest features of the phone. In any case check back with us later this week to see if there are additional details to be had!

T-Mobile Claims They Sold More iPad Airs At Launch Compared To Tablets Sold In Q3

T Mobile Claims They Sold More iPad Airs At Launch Compared To Tablets Sold In Q3While other carriers have offered Apple’s iPad on contract in the past, T-Mobile was the exception, at least until the 1st of November which is when Apple’s iPad Air was made available not just via Apple stores, but also via T-Mobile as well. So with reports of the iPad Air being rather popular, was it a smart decision by T-Mobile to offer the tablet and hop on board the iPad bandwagon as well? Turns out that it is, according to T-Mobile who recently claimed that they have managed to sell more iPad Air tablets during the launch of the device compared to all of Q3, which is definitely saying something!

Granted T-Mobile’s focus is not necessarily purely on tablets, it is still pretty impressive nonetheless. Unfortunately T-Mobile declined to provide any numbers regarding their sales, but we guess it’s still good to know that the tablet is doing well. AT&T has also made somewhat similar claims regarding the iPad Air, claiming that they have seen a 200% increase in iPad activations compared to last year, with the iPad Air presumably to thank for that. With the continued popularity of the iPad Air, we are definitely curious to see what sort of numbers Apple will release in the near future regarding tablets sold.

T-Mobile CEO Reiterates 200MB Free Data Commitment For iPad Air Customers

T Mobile CEO Reiterates 200MB Free Data Commitment For iPad Air Customers

T-Mobile is carrying Apple’s new iPad this time around and its throwing in an added incentive for customers who’re looking to pick up a cellular version of the iPad Air. The carrier is offering 200MB of cellular data free per month, undercutting AT&T’s offer of 250MB for $14.99. However after the iPad Air was released, a number of customers who picked up the tablet from T-Mobile reported that they were told they’d have to pay $10 per month to access the 200MB free data, an obvious contradiction to the carrier’s offer. That is not the case though, as T-Mobile CEO John Legere has confirmed that customers won’t have to pay a dime to access what they’ve been promised.

Legere reiterated through Twitter that every iPad Air owner will receive 200MB of free data per month, and that the $10 monthly fee is not going to be charged. He says that there was an “executional mistake” which lead to this confusion, following up the statement once again with the carrier’s commitment to providing 200MB of free data without any exceptions and strings attached. So if you’re out in the market for a cellular iPad Air, T-Mobile’s offer might entice you to opt for Magenta, the question is, would you go for it?

    T-Mobile Won’t Offer Nokia’s Latest Devices [Rumor]

T Mobile Wont Offer Nokias Latest Devices [Rumor]

Nokia World 2013 took place on October 22nd, at the event the Finnish manufacturer announced a number of new devices, which include the much rumored Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 phablets. Nokia also launched its hotly anticipated tablet, the Lumia 2520, at this event. Both Lumia 1320 and 1520 are going to be exclusive to AT&T in the U.S., whereas the tablet is going to be offered by both Verizon and AT&T. Rumor has it that T-Mobile won’t offer any of the new devices that Nokia has announced.

If this rumor is true, then you might be out of luck if you wanted to pick up one of Nokia’s new devices from T-Mobile. T-Mobile hasn’t officially confirmed this as yet, so it can be said for sure if the carrier really does not intend to carry Nokia’s new devices. The company’s Lumia 521 has been performing well on Magenta, even the Lumia 925 has gained traction. No reason has surfaced as to why T-Mobile is passing on some of the most highly anticipated devices to come out of Nokia. Even if a carrier doesn’t initially carry a device, doesn’t mean that it can’t change its mind in the future. T-Mobile may very well decide to pick up the devices somewhere down the line, or it may never do so at all, we can only wait and see.

T-Mobile Rumored To Offer Nexus 5 On Launch Day Itself

T Mobile Rumored To Offer Nexus 5 On Launch Day ItselfBack in 2012 when the Nexus 4 launched, T-Mobile managed to offer the handset on the same day itself. Will history repeat itself with the upcoming Nexus 5? Well according to one Reddit user who spoke to a T-Mobile employee, it seems that might be the case, with the employee being pretty confident about the handset’s launch on the carrier the same day Google releases it to the public, meaning that there won’t be any delay. Of course the T-Mobile employee could simply be basing this on last year’s launch so do take it with a grain of salt for now and try not to get your hopes up just yet, but we’ll definitely keep our eyes and ears peeled for more info.

The Nexus 5 is expected to launch across the major carriers, with Sprint’s version of the handset being recently rumored. While the rumors claim a 1st of November launch, other sources have suggested that the handset will see an announcement on a 5th of November event held in Tel-Aviv, but like we said earlier, take it all with a grain of salt for now, but given that the 1st of November and the 5th of November are only days away, we guess we won’t have to wait much longer to see if the rumors pan out, so be sure to check back with us then for the details!

T-Mobile iPad Air Arriving This November 1st

T Mobile iPad Air Arriving This November 1stAs expected, the folks over at T-Mobile do not want to be left out of the iPad Air party, and hence, they have announced that they will be rolling out the recently introduced iPad Air this November 1st. Best of all is, you will be able to pick up the iPad Air for nothing, while enjoying free data for life, now how about that?

We do know that T-Mobile has announced that they will offer iPad Air and iPad mini, both with Wi-Fi + Cellular, from November 1st onward, while the iPad mini with Retina display with Wi-Fi + Cellular will arrive later in the same month. T-Mobile Tablets Get Free Data For Life

T-Mobile Tablets Get Free Data For Life

T-Mobile just introduced a new lineup of tablet plans. At their core, there’s a pretty good deal: Beginning November 1st, any tablet will get 200 MB of free LTE data per month. That’s not a ton of data, but it’s also free. And free always makes people smile.

New iPad Users Get 200MB Free Data Per Month On T-Mobile

New iPad Users Get 200MB Free Data Per Month On T MobileDon’t you just love the free market and a capitalist mindset? Of course, there is no economic model that will be 100% foolproof, but it does seem that capitalism has a whole lot more advantages compared to disadvantages, and with the recently announced iPad Air as well as iPad mini with Retina display, pricing details have already begun to be announced by different carriers. We have already brought you what Sprint had to say about the situation, and it does seem that the folks over at T-Mobile do have an enticing carrot that hopes to entice the masses to sign up with them.

Just how attractive is T-Mobile’s offer? How about 200MB of free data each month if you end up as a new iPad owner? This would definitely undercut AT&T’s entry-level offering of $14.99 for the same amount of data each month, but it must be noted that AT&T does offer additional data for $30 a pop, with 3GB included. As for T-Mobile, they will throw in 2.5GB of data at a similar price point.

It would be interesting how far will customer loyalty go when it comes to getting the best bang for your hard earned buck. Out of all the mobile carriers, who would you stick with when it comes to the new iPads?

T-Mobile Tweets His Love Of The Galaxy Note 3 From His iPhone

T Mobile Tweets His Love Of The Galaxy Note 3 From His iPhoneWe’ve seen our fair share of celebrity tweets in the past where they have attempted to promote a phone or platform that is not an iOS device, but end up tweeting that promotional tweet using an iPhone. It is pretty funny and a bit embarrassing for those celebrities and brands but it happens, with the latest case being a tweet by none other than T-Mobile’s CEO, John Legere, who tweeted his love for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, only to have his tweet discovered that it was done via his iPhone.

The tweet reads, “Glad @SamsungMobile decided to bring phablets to the states. I don’t know what I’d do without my #Note3!” Legere was then notified that his tweet came from his iPhone to which he tweeted a response saying, “oops. I carry both as you may know! That was funny.” He then followed up with a photo where he showed off both the iPhone 5s and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Given Legere’s role as the CEO of a major carrier in the US, we highly doubt that he only has one phone on him and it really isn’t surprising that he carries more than one, although admittedly his little hiccup with the tweets was a bit funny.

T-Mobile HTC One Android 4.3 Update Will Be Released This Monday

T Mobile HTC One Android 4.3 Update Will Be Released This Monday

Carrier branded HTC One units in the U.S. have finally begun receiving the Android 4.3 update. Customers were dutifully updated about the roll out process by HTC Americas president Jason Mackenzie. It was he who revealed that Android 4.3 roll out for carrier branded devices would miss its previously scheduled release date at the end of last month, and it was he who broke world that Sprint HTC One owners were the first ones to receive this update. AT&T subscribers were the second in line to receive the update on their devices. Mackenzie has now revealed via Twitter that T-Mobile HTC One Android 4.3 update will finally begin rolling out on Monday, October 21st.

A few days back Mackenzie had said that T-Mobile customers should expected the update to reach them within a couple of days, but apparently the roll out hit a snag, which caused it to be pushed back to October 21st. Mackenzie replied to a query on Twitter, saying that the update has been held until Monday due to an unexpected delay. That’s not too bad though, the release has only been set back by a few days. Barring any unexpected snags, the update should begin to be rolled out to T-Mobile HTC One users tomorrow.
