Sprint’s Response To T-Mobile’s Uncarrier Revealed In Leaked Photo

Sprints Response To T Mobiles Uncarrier Revealed In Leaked PhotoEarlier this year, T-Mobile unveiled their latest Uncarrier plan in which the company is willing to pay the early termination fees of their customers in order to make them switch to the carrier. This offer is valued up to $650 which is $200 more than AT&T’s own offer, but now it looks like Sprint could be taking a page out of T-Mobile’s book.

Thanks to a recently leaked photo on the S4GRU forum, it has been revealed that starting on the 4th of April, Sprint will be launching their own plan in which they will be paying customers up to $650 to switch to the carrier. The ad also states that this offer will last until the 8th of May. (more…)

T-Mobile Offering $100 Credit To BlackBerry Customers

T Mobile Offering $100 Credit To BlackBerry CustomersEarlier today, BlackBerry announced that they would be giving their T-Mobile customers $100 off if they were interested in getting a new handset from the official BlackBerry store. Perhaps this is like a token of apology for inconveniencing T-Mobile customers who will no longer be able to purchase BlackBerry phones from the carrier in the future as the licensing agreement between both companies are coming to an end.

However it looks like T-Mobile has plans of their own and in a recent blog post by T-Mobile’s CEO, John Legere, it seems that the carrier will be willing to give BlackBerry customers $100 in credit towards any new phone as a token of appreciation, although Legere notes that this credit can also be applied towards the BlackBerry phones in their portfolio like the BlackBerry Q10 and the BlackBerry Z10. T-Mobile’s John Legere Tweets His Excitement For Windows Phone

T Mobiles John Legere Tweets His Excitement For Windows PhoneT-Mobile’s CEO, John Legere, is known for being a rather chatty and outspoken fellow especially on Twitter, and a recent tweet showed the CEO’s excitement for the Windows Phone platform. According to his tweet, Legere writes, “That @windowsphone is awesome! Great for business customers, #amiright?!”

There is a small chance that Legere might be snubbing BlackBerry, a company that is typically known for its popularity amongst business and government circles. It was recently announced that BlackBerry and T-Mobile would be ending their licensing agreement with one another on the 25th of April which is when their contract is set to expire. (more…)

BlackBerry Offers T-Mobile Customers $100 Off BlackBerry Handsets

BlackBerry Offers T Mobile Customers $100 Off BlackBerry HandsetsAs some of you might have heard by now, BlackBerry and T-Mobile will be parting ways on the 25th of April. Officially this is because the licensing agreement between both companies will be coming to an end on that date, but unofficially we’re not sure why BlackBerry/T-Mobile is not interested in renegotiating the deal.

In any case to help make up for the fact that you will no longer be able to purchase a BlackBerry device from T-Mobile in the near future, BlackBerry has since announced a special offer by emailing their T-Mobile customers, informing them that if they wish to purchase a new BlackBerry device like the BlackBerry Q5, Q10, or Z10, they will be able to get $100 off. BlackBerry And T-Mobile Part Ways In U.S. Licensing Agreement

BlackBerry And T Mobile Part Ways In U.S. Licensing AgreementBoth BlackBerry and T-Mobile have not had the best of working relationships in recent memory, especially with T-Mobile halting sales of BlackBerry 10 hardware in their stores last year, while trolling the Canadian smartphone manufacturer with a campaign that entices users to switch over to the iPhone 5s for nothing, claiming that this is a “great offer for BlackBerry users” which BlackBerry CEO John Chen has since described as “inappropriate.” While their working relationship seemed to have stabilized somewhat with the introduction of a T-Mobile BlackBerry trade-in offer, things are not all that rosy as BlackBerry has announced that they will not renew their agreement with T-Mobile when the current deal expires this April 25.
