Back at CES 2014 earlier this year, Sony unveiled a new handset in the form of the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra. Essentially the handset featured a big display but with its hardware, it was being marketed as a mid-ranged device.

Now we still have no idea when Sony plans on launching the handset, but for those interested, the Xperia T2 Ultra has recently made its way past the FCC sporting T-Mobile compatible radios. What this means is that the handset is cleared for launch in the US, although like we said earlier, there’s still no word on when it will be released or how much it will cost. (more…)

Earlier today HTC finally announced its much awaited, and extensively leaked, smartphone. All New HTC One a.k.a the HTC One M8 is now official. T-Mobile has already announced that it is going to carry the smartphone. The T-Mobile New HTC One will be launched next month, it will be offered along with unlimited talk, text and data. Since T-Mobile is the “un-carrier,” customers won’t be tied down to a conventional two year service contract.

We’re sure that many out there would love to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S5. After all the device was one of the highly anticipated smartphones of 2014, and for the most part Samsung has never disappointed with its Galaxy S series of Android handsets.

Now we know that AT&T has announced that they will soon begin taking pre-orders for the handset, but what about the other carriers? When will they see the Galaxy S5? Good news for people who own a T-Mobile Galaxy S3 t999. The carrier has released an optional Android 4.3 update for them, it comes nearly three months after said update was released for the LTE variant of this very smartphone. The Galaxy S3 t999 Android 4.3 update is rolling out now. Those who haven’t already been notified by their devices about an OTA update can now fish for it through the Settings application.

Earlier this year in January, Sony announced a new phone by the name of the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra. However at that time it was suggested that the handset might only see a release in markets for Asia and Africa, meaning that those of us living stateside might not be able to look forward to the device at all.

Well it seems that Sony might have had a change of heart, at least according to tipster @evleaks whose recent tweet has suggested that the Xperia T2 Ultra could actually be making its way onto T-Mobile after all! T-Mobile has been a supporter of Sony for a while now and has released several Sony handsets in the past, so we guess it wouldn’t be a stretch of the imagination to think that T-Mobile might offer up the  Xperia T2 Ultra as well.
