Samsung teases new Galaxy and ATIV devices for upcoming London event

On this quiet Monday, Samsung decided to do a little teaser for its upcoming “Premiere 2013” roadshow event in London on June 20th. The above poster only mentions “Galaxy & ATIV,” which suggest the event will mainly feature Android and Windows-based devices. The remaining tiles show partial shots of three mysterious devices — possibly a tablet or phone, a convertible laptop (à la Sony VAIO Duo 11) and a camera (maybe the rumored Galaxy S 4 Zoom?). Obviously, we’ll be at the event to solve this mystery, so stay tuned for more.

Lenovo ThinkPad S3 and S5 teased, show off aluminum ‘floating design’

Lenovo ThinkPad S3 and S5 tease new aluminum design, to feature

Starting to get bored of the ThinkPad’s classic look but not keen on the Edge series? Then we have good news for you! Earlier today we received a couple of photos that show off two upcoming Lenovo Ultrabooks: the 13-inch ThinkPad S3 (codename “Labatt”) and the 15-inch ThinkPad S5 (“Guinness”). As you can see above and after the break, both aluminum laptops feature a new “floating design” that might have taken a page out of Samsung and Vizio’s book: shaving off the front outer edges of the bottom side to create that slim and floating illusion. Also, these will apparently come with either a black or silver lid.

Some folks on Sina Weibo have received other teaser photos of the ThinkPad S5, with one confirming the presence of JBL stereo speakers. The funny thing is Chinese website Yesky reported on a charity auction that actually sold limited editions of the S3 and S5 earlier this month, but those unannounced Ultrabooks went under everyone else’s radar. If you’re curious, Yesky speculates that a launch is due in China at the end of this month, but you’ll have to stay tuned for the prices and specs.

Jolla’s Marc Dillon teases world’s first Sailfish device, confirms launch in a couple of weeks

Jolla's Marc Dillon teases

So the rumor is true: the world’s first Jolla Sailfish device will be launching this month. In fact, Marc Dillon, the ex-CEO and now Head of Software Development at Jolla, was kind enough to flash the back of the product at the GMIC Beijing conference earlier today — mainly to emphasize his love for the booming Chinese market. It was very brief — no more than two seconds — but the orange device appeared to be no smaller than five inches in screen size. Dillon only added that the official launch is “coming in a couple of weeks,” so we’ll be keeping an eye out for an invitation in our mailbox.

Lenovo teases next-generation ThinkPad X series at Expand

Lenovo teases nextgeneration ThinkPad X series at Expand

Lenovo didn’t hold back on the unveils here at Expand, and as if the ThinkPad T431s wasn’t enough, the company just teased a next-generation of the X series ThinkPad line. In essence, what we saw is the future 12-inch, SSD-infused variant of the X230, gussied up in the same kind of motif that’ll be first showcased on the 14-inch T431s. In other words, we’re looking at a slimmer, more streamlined machine that boasts the outfit’s new widened trackpad, remapped Function keys and a thinner bezel. We weren’t given a price or release date, but we’ll be sure to update with more as we get it.

Klipsch quietly teases new in-ear headphone lineup: S4 (II) series, S7i set to arrive this month

Leave it to Klipsch to surprise us with new gear for our ears when we least expect it. Within the last day or so, the company quietly pushed a “coming soon” page live on its website chock full of new in-ear headphones. To start, the S4 series is getting a complete refresh across the lineup and taking up the (II) moniker — namely, the $80 S4 (II), and the $100 S4i (II) and S4a (II), which respectively feature an inline remote / mic for iOS and Android devices. While the trio of intra-aurals look largely similar to their ear-pleasing predecessors, Klipsch has graced them with flat cables to kill the tangled-cord issues we’ve experienced.

Better yet, it’s also showcasing the $200 S7i (seen middle), a curvaceous set of balanced armature-loaded ceramic ‘bubs, equipped with an iOS-compatible remote / mic. The S7i essentially fills the “mid-range” gap in price from the S4i to the $350 X10i. Detailed specs for all the sets aren’t anywhere to be seen currently, but we’ll likely find out more at Klipsch’s NYC event next week. For now, you can rest assured knowing that you’ll have a choice of black or white for everything except the S4a (II) — and that it’s all already up for pre-order at the source link below.
