Most people would swear that the iPhone 4S has one of the best cameras around on a smartphone, and I am referring to the days before the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3 were released. Granted, before I chanced upon this piece of gadgetry from the mavens over at ThinkGeek, I had absolutely no idea what a Roman Candle was. Well, I guess you could say that I have been “enlightened” by reading up on it, where this $24.99 Roman Candle Fireball Blaster will allow you to experience all the wonders of a Roman Candle – in safety, of course. It will come with a trio of light up fireballs, making it capable of shooting up to 25 feet complete with its fair share of sound effects to capture the attention of Generation Z kids.

After all, the Roman Candle Fireball Blaster makes it a whole lot easier for parents to enjoy fireworks with their little ones without worrying about burning the house down, right? Using this as an educational tool is not only easy, but safe as well – all you need to do is load fireballs into the blaster, pull back and you are able to fire away up to 25 feet in the air, complete with sizzling sound effects. It is powered by a pair of AAA batteries.

Earlier this morning I talked a bit about the Star Wars Wampa ice scraper. That is certainly the coolest way to get ice off your windshield during the winter I’ve ever seen. ThinkGeek also has some other new Star Wars theme gadgets that geeks will appreciate. I think a couple of these might spawn some new memes.

Behold the power of my fully functional tea infuser. Our resident Brit will appreciate the Death Star Tea Infuser that will sell for $19.99 when it comes in stock later this month. The tea infuser is a perfect stainless steel likeness of the Death Star with a little Tie Fighter on a chain so you can dip it into your glass of hot water to make your preferred tea.

One of my favorites is the Star Wars Lightsaber Ice Pop Makers. The kit comes with four light up lightsaber hilts. Two of the hilts look like Luke’s saber and two look like Vader’s saber hilt. You put whatever liquid you want into the saber molds and then freeze them to make your own popsicles. You can even press a button and make your frosty treats glow. These are expected to be in stock in November for $34.99.

The final product is for the Star Wars geek professionals out there. It’s called the Han Solo in Carbonite Business Card Case. You can pretty much figure out what this is from the name alone. It’s able to hold about a dozen business cards depending on how thick the card stock is. It’s estimated to be available in one to three weeks at $24.99.

Did you ever wonder what became of the hand Luke chopped off that Wampa that wanted to eat him on the icy planet of Hoth? I like to imagine that fuzzy Wampa arm crawled around the icy planet like Michael Caine’s mitt in the 80′s flick “The Hand.” Only the Wampa hand was nice and instead of trying to choke the life out of you, it would scrape the ice off your snow speeders windshield.

I think that would be a good use for a severed Wampa arm personally. If you live in a colder climate or just want to get ready for wintertime, ThinkGeek has an awesome Star Wars officially licensed gadget that you will want to add to your winter arsenal. The product is called the Star Wars Wampa Ice Scraper Mitt.

The scraper is expected to be in stock on October 9 and will sell for $24.99. One side of the ice scraper mitt has white fur and the other side has an ice scraper in the palm. The fingernails appear to be black vinyl. Naturally, the Wampa fur is fake, and it does have a bit red on the underside to show where Luke hacked it off.

ThinkGeek says that the plush ice scraper is warm so it should keep your hand as warm as Luke slumbering inside a recently gutted Tauntaun. The mitt measures 17 x 8.5-inches and the scraper is 3 x 4-inches. When the scraper is removed the mitt is also machine washable.
