Transcend has unleashed a new line of CompactFlash memory cards namely the 1000x. Available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB sizes, these thumb-sized cards are compliant with CF 6.0 specification, have built-in BCH ECC (Error Correction Code) technology and can deliver read and write speeds of up to 160MB/s and 120MB/s, respectively. Transcend has once again expanded its line of portable DVD writers by announcing the TS8XDVDS-K. Measuring just 13.9mm thick, this ultra-thin DVD writer comes with a USB 2.0 connection interface and promises to deliver write speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R/+R. Transcend hits back by bringing you two new DDR3 memory modules, the 32GB TS4GKR72V3P and 16GB TS2GKR72V6PL. The 32GB TS4GKR72V3P works at 1.5V with 1333MHz speed and 9-9-9-24 latency. Meanwhile, the 16GB TS2GKR72V6PL works at 1.5V with 1600MHz speed and 11-11-11-28 latency. Not only that, both memory modules are also equipped with a built-in temperature sensor for thermal control system and better signal integrity.
