Batmobile Tumbler iPhone 5/5S Case: Not the Case Your Pants Need

Bandai recently started a line of smartphone cases called Crazy Case, and they’re backing up their words with action. As you can see in Drool’d’s shot, the first Crazy Case is a Tumbler Batmobile toy car that happens to have a gap at the bottom big enough for an iPhone 5 or 5S to fit in.

The officially licensed case has several LEDs, including a mobile Batsignal. Its front wheels slide to the side to give way to the iPhone’s camera and sleep button. It also looks absolutely juvenile. I want one.

You can order the case from Bandai for about $57 (USD). It originally appeared on the Japanese Premium Bandai shop, but that site seems to be down as of this writing. You can check it out at Bandai’s Hong Kong shop too.

Batman’s Tumbler Recycled from Dead PlayStation 2s

So you’ve got a couple of dead old video game consoles lying around. While you could just throw them in the trash, it’s better for you to recycle them. And what better than to turn your old game systems into Batman’s Tumbler?

That’s exactly what recycling artist Daniel Shankalonian did when he got his hands on a couple of deceased PlayStation 2 systems. He completed his build chopping up the bits and pieces of the consoles, mixing in a liberal dose of printer and hard drive parts, and placing the whole assemblage on a broken down old Dell XPS laptop.

While it’s certainly not as elegant of a job as Lucius Fox did with the original Tumbler, you have to give Shankalonian credit for being able to make lemonade out of the lemons he was dealt. And Lucius had the slight advantage of having millions of dollars from the Wayne Foundation to work with too.

Best of all, you can own this recycled PS2/Batmobile. It’s available over on Etsy for $250(USD). It’s a shame you can’t hook up a DualShock and play Arkham Origins on it.

Tractor Tumbler Brings Batman To The Farmlands

A Dark Knight-themed tractor tumbler was spotted in The Netherlands.

Tumbler Tractor: Uncle Batman Had a Farm…

Now I’m no expert on agriculture, but I didn’t know that Gotham had any farms left. Then again, the Scarecrow had to come from somewhere right? That helps to explain this kick-ass tractor that looks like it came from Wayne Industries, right alongside the Tumbler we all know and love.

This tractor was built in the Netherlands, and it just happens to look like the Dark Knight’s tumbler. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. Yeah. That’s all. This guy probably doesn’t have a Batcave and talk in a gravelly voice. At least that’s Lucius Fox told me.

He is not at all preparing armor, along with a black cape and cowl to fight crime in the Netherlands. Nah. That’s just crazy. So crazy it just might work.

Street Legal Batman Tumbler Replica Rises

The Gumball 3000 is an international rally for rich people who own exotic supercars. It’s a chance to show off and let their expensive toys roar. But this year’s race will feature one car that’s surely more exotic than even the newest Lambo. It’s a life-size replica of the Tumbler from Nolan’s Batman films.

The car was commissioned by a group of gearheads from Saudi Arabia who call themselves Team Galag. According to Yahoo! Autos, the replica has a 400hp engine, goes up to 100mph and cost $1.6 million (USD) to build. A Wayne-level budget; I guess that adds to the authenticity. Autoblog says that the car was made by Parker Brothers Concepts, who are no strangers to building wacky one-off vehicles for the rich and famous.

F5-to-Refresh Tumblers Refresh your Palate

Since I’ve spent the better part of the last 20 years developing and designing stuff on the Internet, I’m painfully familiar with having to clear my cache and refresh my browser window. In fact, the F5 key on my old Windows machine is worn down to a nub at this point. I’ve got a Mac as my main work machine these days, so “Command-R” has become my new best friend. Even though these tumblers aren’t Mac compatible, I still like ‘em.

These 14oz. glass tumblers have been etched with the all-too-familiar “F5″ key, as a precursor to the refreshing beverage you’re about to enjoy. They’re made by Denver artist Donna Diddit, who says she can also make them as coffee mugs or aluminum water bottles.

A set of four tumblers sells for $24(USD) over on Etsy. Now all I need are some Command-R glasses. In the mean time, I’ll have to settle for the world’s best coffee mug, also made by Donna:

Motorized LEGO Tumbler: Where Does He Get Those Wonderful Toys?

This LEGO motorized Tumbler is so detailed that you might think it was made by Wayne Industries, but it was actually made by a guy named Sariel. The man should build for Batman himself – or at least change his name to Lucius.

Doctor Who Exclusive Dalek Tumbler Set

Do you have an appetite on all things that have to do with the Doctor Who series? If you have answered in the affirmative, perhaps it is time to slake that thirst with the $59.99 Doctor Who Exclusive Dalek Tumbler Set. Yes sir, this bad boy will definitely scream “Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!” whenever you encounter any thirst in your throat, assuming there is some life giving water inside, of course. Having emptied a can of isotonic drink into the Doctor Who Exclusive Dalek Tumbler Set beforehand would also help a whole lot, especially when your body is gasping for electrolytes.

You can choose from five different colors – red, orange, yellow, blue, and white, although we do not think that white is a wise color option to fall back upon considering how fast and easy it will get dirty. Not only that, if you are going to fill the Doctor Who Exclusive Dalek Tumbler Set with your favorite cold beverage, you would be happy to know that it is double walled, ensuring the mercury in there remains lower for longer periods of time.
