Panasonic is releasing 2 new wireless speaker systems on May 17: “SC-NE5″ and “SC-NE1″

Logitec is releasing a cylindrical shaped Bluetooth speaker “LBT-AVSP1000″ in mid-April. It plays music saved in a smart device compatible with Bluetooth by connecting wirelessly.

It accommodates AAC/apt-X codec that produces high-quality and low delay sounds. Output is 15W (7.5W x 7.5W). There is a stand to place smart phone/tablet in the front, and the stand includes a USB port for recharging the speaker.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you desperately needed a flash drive but couldn’t find one to save your life? It’s times like these where something like the GIGS.2.GO would’ve been useful.

The question is, what’s GIGS.2.GO? It’s about the size of a credit card and it’s basically just four USB drives arranged into one neat little package.

The premise that Kurt Rampton and the BOLTgroup were working with when they designed GIGS.2.GO was to provide people with emergency thumb drives that they can just keep in their wallet.

Thanks to the “Tear and Share” technology, the card of drives will come in especially handy for people who work with large teams. Just tear off a drive, save your data, and pass it along to whoever needs it.

GIGS.2.GO is designed to be produced from 100% post-consumer molded paper pulp, so they can be labeled easily with a pen or marker.

There’s no word on if or when you’ll be able to buy one though.

Buffalo’s new bus-powered USB hub “BSH8U01″ series connects to 2 USB laptop ports and supplies 1000mA current without using an AC adapter, so you can steadily use devices that require a measurable amount of power. Previous models of bus-powered USB hubs can only supply up to 500mA.

“BSH8U01″ has 8 ports so it’s useful when you need to connect multiple devices like a keyboard, mouse, card reader, USB drive, etc. to your laptop at the same time.

Don’t you just hate it when you’re out and you need to save a file but forgot your USB drive? While there are some out there diligent enough to keep a USB flash drive on their keychain, not everyone does so which makes this GIGS.2.GO concept so much more interesting. Designed by Kurt Rampton and the BOLTgroup, GIGS.2.GO is a credit card-sized set of USB drives whose casings are made from 100% post-consumer molded paper pulp, allowing the user to label each drive accordingly. As you can see in the image above, there are four USB drives attached and to use one, all the user would have to do is tear it off. We can only imagine how handy this will be when it comes to meetings or classes where you find yourself in the need to save files to take home. We’re not sure if you will be able to purchase GIGS.2.GO, but it is a pretty cool idea and should fit in most wallets or purses – what do you guys think?
