Western Digital has recently announced a new line of USB 3.0 portable hard drives, the My Passport AV-TV. Coming in two different storage capacities: 500GB and 1TB, these sleek and ultra-compact hard drives feature a USB 3.0 connection interface and TV recording support, and can be easily mounted on the back of the TV using the included, standardized TV bracket. Buffalo hits back with a new line of USB 3.0 portable hard drives, the Mini Station HD-PLFU3. Coming in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities (black & white color options), these portable hard drives feature a USB 3.0 connection interface, come with a TurboPC EX2 software to increase up to 20% of data storage capacity and are backed by a one year warranty. Just like the 500GB version, this slim hard drive (12.5mm thick) comes with a brushed aluminum body, a USB 3.0 connection interface, NTFS format and ‘HDD Password Tool’. Coming in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB sizes, these fashionable hard drives feature a metallic enclosure etched with a colorful and elegant diamond pattern, a USB 3.0 connection interface and a brilliant blue LED indicator for indicating power and data transfer status. Just like the 1TB and 2TB models, this shock-proof hard drive features a rubber coating, a USB 3.0 connection interface, TV recording support and a 5400RPM spindle speed.
